Piscine un peu vétuste

The hotel was very comfortable. The pool was fun. The dinner was good. The staff were very pleasant.
Nothing.
3.5
Comfortable bed and good parking. Decent restaurant.
Rooms and decor very basic. Small separate toilet. Air conditioning was not working properly in one of the two rooms we had so very stuffy. Next to highway so quite a bit of traffic noise with window open. Breakfast expensive for the he offering at €19 per person.

We based ourselves here for a long weekend exploring the Loire valley. The hotel was ideally located just outside of Tours that enabled quick and easy travel in almost all directions. The room was large, comfortable and with a good bathroom. A key feature of our stay was the use of the Pool, sauna and steam room which were ideal after a long day exploring the local Chateau's. Parking was plentiful and felt safe. Overall the hotel met all of our need's during our stay.
The key card access to the pool did not work during our stay which made access a little more effortful that it needed to be.

Location was excellent and the restaurant was very nice.
The decor is bizarre...old fashioned black and white everywhere.. and the bedroom was navy and white and no pictures.

The restaurant was very good with plenty of vegetarian food.
The hotel colour scheme was unpleasant. Everything was painted black, white or red.

Breakfast - the lack of fresh fruits. A few times there were rotten fruits🤔
One of the coffee machines was having technical problems on daily basis.

it was a stopover hotel on the way to Calais.
So excellent location by the lake and wooded areas for walk
for walking
it said it was dog-friendly… we had our dog. yet
dogs weren’t allowed in bar area, restaurant or
terrace. I was told by receptionist to leave pup in
the car (37c!!) or in the room.
this hotel is definitely not dog friendly. it is barely
dog-tolerant.
service in the restaurant was slow and shabby.
it seemed understaffed

Pool was great.
The restaurant was full when we tried to book for dinner.

very convenient. dog friendly.
room was very hot. air con struggled
4.0
Excellent dinner and breakfast. Hotel modern in appearance. Lovely walk at nearby lake to watch the sunset.
Very difficult hotel to find (although in the end it was just off the motorway). The address is NOT as shown on Booking.com confirmation! Air conditioning not available so open bedroom window meant quite a lot of motorway noise.

Great large bed, very comfy, ok pillows. Good restaurant with a nice selection of local food. Really nice park right around the corner, great for running or a stroll.
Didn’t have towels or robes for the spa in the room, but the staff kept telling us that it should be there. The chateau picture on google was extremely misleading, please remove it.
4.5
Convenient location. superb room, comfortable and clean. great breakfast
alas, the restaurant and bar were closed on the night we were there (Sunday), but not a problem, since they forewarned us.
4.0
Spacious, comfortable room with an excellent well equipped bathroom. We particularly liked the douche italien. The bar was comfortable and the staff obliging.
Although the breakfast was excellent with a great choice of whatever you could desire, we were slightly disappointed by the evening meal. We felt that the quality of the food on the evening menu did not really justify its price.

Lovely location. easy to get too. nice walks around the immediate area. Quiet. Clean. Plenty of parking. Dog friendly. staff very pleasant and helpful
Room was very hot and the air con wasn’t helping much.

Great breakfast
Good location for the Lac
Unsecure car park! But my car was fine.
No restaurant on Sunday evening

Standard Mercure Hotel
Room service : the burger was cold, and the meat crude (I only ordered rare...).
The room was not warmed (while it would have deserved.

Great hotel, well located. Lovely pool.
It was a shame that the restaurant was closed on the night we stayed there...

The rooms & pool were good. The food was good. The staff in the breakfast area on Saturday morning was grumpy & unhelpful.
The staff in the breakfast area on Saturday morning were grumpy & unhelpful.
The restaurant closed very early or that is what we were told, though when I went to have a drink outside there still seemed to be a lot of people eating.

The hotel is close to a lake and forest, very nice for a walk after a long day in the car. Great for dogs too. The room was quite large, viewing the main road at short distance but we could not hear the noise. Large parking area. Many covid19 measures re in place which made us feel very safe. Dinner was very nice and tasty.
One elevator was broken, so there was only one other left. With the dog, we had to use the elevator but sometimes we had to wait a while because only one person at a time was allowed to use it.
Breakfast was nice but due to Covid19 everything was packed in plastic which causes a lot of extra pollution. Think of other creative solutions for this.
4.5
The location is great - it is near a park with a lake and some tracking paths. Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night and had only an opportunity to visit the park. Rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfast is really nice. Bathtub was really appreciated.
Nothing.
