Super ontbijt.
De binnenplaats is best gehorig. Zowel later op de avond als vroeg in de ochtend.

Very nice breakfast and sitting area outside. Nice clean room with very clean bathroom. Worth the money!
Naming the place a castle is taking the mouth too full. It is a hotel. Missed the hangers for towels to dry in the bath room. The village is boring, nothing to see.

I love this hotel, I travel between England and Italy and have stayed here many times in the last 10 years. It never disappoints, the staff are always lovely. Everything is meticulously, clean- a great breakfast and a fantastic spa.
I will return again before much longer
I have stayed in this hotel multiple times every year in the last decade, I travel alone, so book a single room. It would be nice just once in a blue moon to be recognised as a frequent guest and might be bumped into a nicer room last night. The hotel was very very quiet but as always single room allocated, that’s all I pay for so I’m not moaning, but I have racked up a fair few visits over the years

Restaurant crossover is great. Location is great
Ok, two things here. The crossover restaurant has great food and service. However, the hotel is ridiculously expensive for the value. Furthermore, our bed was way too soft, in the evening dogs of a neighbor were barking for 2 hours and the lady at the reception didn't do anything about it, and the next morning the cleaning lady walked into the room despite the do-not-disturb sign. Needless to say I'm not planning to come back quickly again.

The room was small but attractive. There was only a semi-comfy 'bench-sofa' to seat one person but another upright chair. Although we overlooked the road, the room was quiet. We found the car- charging facility excellent. Excellent breakfast in a comfortable space.
There were no facilities to make tea or coffee which for us is a real drawback and we would have liked a proper chair. The shower room was separate from the toilet with the basin in-between in the main bedroom - this felt a little clumsy.

Very nice staff, very clean hotel, free parking close to the hotel, charging station for e-cars on the parking
Beds where a bit soft

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is good and easy to find. Pretty big public parking with a lot of space even on the weekend.
Breakfast could be better. An hour before end there was almost nothing to eat, only bread, a few meals and coffee.

A very pleasant large room overlooking the pool. We ate in the Cross Over restaurant which had very good food and friendly staff. Breakfast was also good.
It is a bit further outside Freiburg than we realised but a day by the pool made up for that!

I arrived late and the restaurant was fully booked, but the very helpful staff made me a table and the meal was excellent. Breakfast was very relaxed with a lot of choice. The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean.

Good choice, nice location.

garden is very nice
I booked a place with charging station in the parking of the hotel and when I arrived the spot with my name was taken by someone else. The person of the hotel didn’t seem to feel it as a problem to be solved. I ended up having to move the car back in the street after dinner and look for a public charging station.
4.5
I liked the concept of the hotel - an old castle, two restaurants and a bar, friendly staff, quiet location.
The room looks a bit "clinical". It's clean, but could be a little more cosy.
4.0
Beautiful location spotlessly clean and very friendly staff. I also find the breakfast here is one of the best I’ve ever had, it’s always a shame we don’t have long enough to enjoy it slowly
Sadly I booked a single room which was absolutely tiny and I must admit very claustrophobic. Furthermore like being in a cruise ship cabin . just took The age of an otherwise perfect stay

Nothing.

Staff was very nice. Property was beautiful.
We had a standard double room and Jr Suite booked. The Jr Suite was amazing, very comfortable. The standard double with twin beds had very uncomfortable beds.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Fantastic swimming pool. The 2 massage therapists were really good
Only 2 of 5 saunas available. First given a room where the lighting wasn’t complete… got an upgrade after speaking to staff.
On 2 nights of our 3 night stay, only 1 of the 3 restaurants was open. It would have been good if we were informed at the beginning of our stay.
