Für eine Nacht war es ausreichend.

Die Lage dieser Ferienwohnung ist günstig, da man schnell in der Altstadt ist. Das W-Lan hat sehr gut funktioniert, so dass ich es mir mit der Lofi-Musik auf YouTube und einem selbst mitgebrachten Teelicht gemütlich machen konnte :). Auch das Bett war superweich und ich konnte gut darauf schlafen. Ausserdem war es sehr ruhig, sodass ich nicht durch irgendwelche Störgeräusche aufgewacht bin.

Das Mobiliar war schon ziemlich abgenutzt. Bei manchen Gegenständen dachte ich, dass diese vom Sperrmüll kamen. Die Dusche im Bad zeigte bereits schwarze Flecken, welche wie Schimmel aussahen. Die Heizung im Bad könnte mal mit weisser Farbe überstrichen werden. Im Bad gab es ausserdem keine Ablageflächen für die eigene Utensilien. Es hätten auch mehr Handtuchhaken vorhanden sein können. Der Wasserkocher in der Küche müsste entweder mal entkalkt oder gleich durch einen neuen ersetzt werden.

Wismar ist eine sehenswerte Stadt, jedoch beim nächsten mal in einer anderen Pension.

Nähe zum Zentrum.

Sehr alt und abgenutzt. Keine richtige Tür zum Badezimmer. Einige Beschädigungen in der Wohnung. Für die Hälfte vom Preis wäre es ok gewesen.

Prettig rustig, vriendelijk, verrassend met mooie wandelmogelijkheden.

De locatie, was zeer verrassend, de tuin en de wandelmogelijkheden langs het kanaal was schitterend. Heel stil, natuurlijk en verrassend. En wanneer je parkeert, denk je even, waar kom ik terecht, aangezien daar de omgeving een industriele indruk geeft.

Ik zou het niet weten.

Positiver Eindruck. Kommen gerne wieder.

Gut zu erreichen, da mein Mann körperlich beeinträchtigt ist. Parkplatz in noch erreichbarer Nähe. Keine Gebühren über Nacht. Zimmer hat eine gute Größe, war sauber und hatte alles was man braucht.

Die Nachtschränkchen hätten etwas größer sein können.Die Außentreppe war nicht beleuchtet.

Very good

Convenient, close to shops and for sightseeing, quiet and pleasant neighbourhood

Needs more kitchen items: coffee filters, more bowls, dish towel, etc. Definitely needs Wi-Fi, bathroom mirror. Instructions for the stove top with its obscure symbols. These are seemingly trivial, but irritating.

Superb

The apartment seemed newly renovated. The location was great, close to the Altstadt and Harbour also. Check-in was easy even late at night, and checkout was simple also.

Everything met or exceeded expectations. The only thing I would note and might be good to know (but is not something the Pension can change), there are church bells throughout the night from the church directly across the street. You get used to them eventually.

Very charming located hotel close to the center of Wismar.

I was very surprised by the facilities in our room. I didnt read much about the facilities before arrival and was very pleased to find a full functional kitchen and refrigerator. Eventhough the temperature was about 37 celcius the room was still cool both during day and night.

Overpriced for what you get.

The pension is in a really old building. The location is good.

- We paid 70 EUR for one night and we got the ground floor apartment. Other guests used the Hof as smoke area and we couldn’t open the window. That can also explain the bad smell in the room. - Light, thin curtains. You don’t have intimacy and at 5 in the morning you wake up with the light. - To access to the building you get a code. A lot of guests they couldn’t open the door and they were noisy at night. A family with two kids tried to open the door with the code provided and they couldn’t. They had to search an alternative hotel at 22:40. Another guest tried to open the door without success at 6 in the morning. - It isn’t quiet as the description says. You can hear everything. Maybe this hotel can work as a bed and breakfast for backpackers, but for families and couples, it’s better to search for another places. Definitely overpriced.

Very central Location in the Heart of the Old City - but that's it already.

Location next to the old city of Wismar, room was of good size and quiet, huge bathroom, good internet, comfy bed.

No bathroom amenities, not even a glass to put water in and wash your teeth with after cleaning. Complicated check-in process with no personal available. If you have a foreign sim-card with no roaming (like us) you won't get the access-data to open the dooor and the key-box next to your room. No free parking available, next public parking (with a fee) ten minutes walk away.

Room no.4 is pretty clean. Good location. Nice staffs.

The hair dryer didn't work. It's really sad : ( (my hair quite long, so I took 2 hrs. to wait for it dry.)

Cosy apartment

Our rooms were very cosy, comfortable and location is super good.

It was promised that we will have a bath. But there wasn’t, we had just shower. No place for car.

Where Time Froze

No human representative on the spot except between 08:00-10:00 am. No one to reach there physically or on Telephone for any kind of problem you might have. I had no Wlan for doing my work and after an email i sent, instead of helping me finding a solution, I was told that „i should have book Wlan on my reservation“ (it’s 2021 right??). Joke.

Wismar is wonderful, the Pension Apostel, a work in progress.

The apartment, with its good kitchen and two good bedrooms, was comfortable and clean, the beds comfortable. The location was central to both the old part of town and the harbor. The parking we chose was down the hill and across a street, very close and four Euros per day. Wismar is very beautiful. The oldest Karstadt is located not far from some great cafés at the square, where we had breakfast. We loved the view from the tower of the church, the rest of the church having been destroyed at the end of WWII. There was a very fun and amazing 3-d film, which we saw in English, about how the church was built. It was easy to get to the harbor from anywhere in the old part of the city. There we took a boat ride and learned a lot about the harbor and its history. There are nice restaurants in Wismar that are affordable and offer good food between our Pension and the harbor.

We arrived on a Sunday evening to find the streets and the city devoid of humans. Because of this, it left us vulnerable to a certain type of criminal activity, which was unlikely to re-occur for us. We warded this off with loud voices and by using our phone cameras as threats. It left us very subdued and we thought for the rest of the evening about going to a different hotel. Having thwarted this danger and having experienced it in other cities as tourists, we decided it was over and continued with our plans for a nice weekend. This incident didn't necessarily have to do with the part of town, rather with the time of evening we arrived on a Sunday, when Wismar is very empty and not well-lighted. It had the feeling of a certain organized kind of activity to which tourists can be vulnerable if they are not keeping their wits about them. We wanted to report this to our host, along with other difficulties, but he didn't respond to our phone calls to his contact number listed with Booking and he didn't have an answering machine or respond to our messages to that number. He uses a different telephone number for the keys which you only receive the day of your arrival and we didn't realize this was the correct contact number. We called to report lack of wifi because no matter how many times we put the password in, the wifi didn't work. Guests who arrived after us kept buzzing us from the street because they couldn't get their key. There was a problem with the lighting in the stairwell. One of our towels was in poor condition. The bathroom had no curtain. There is no reception and the person who could receive our payment was sick, so it was necessary to be in contact with the owner. The lack of wifi was problematic.

Flat number 12 is a gem. Very cosy.

- Apartment number 12 is fully renovated. Very cosy and nicely decorated. - Comfortable bed - Spacious terrace to enjoy the sunset and the view on the city.

- No WiFi available despite my message to the staff - No curtain on all windows. Be prepared to be awaken very early in summer.

Good location at the old town. All was well explained in advance for the late arrival when reception is closed.

We stayed here just for one night and the room was ok for that. For longer stay not reccomended. The room just need a solod refreshment, especially bathroom.

Location is good, just in the city center. Communication with the staff was also smooth and friendly.

The apartment #6 is pretty old, but hey, everything works. It is located on the ground floor, and the bed is just a couple of meters from the street where people pass by, but there are only tansparent curtains, so no privacy at all!

Location is very nice and convenient. Value for money and Staffs are nice with very well organized ( without contact) before I reach because of Covid situation. If you’re in urgent business trip in Wismar then I would suggest this property to stay!
