all round good value and great staff
A bit pushy to persuade taking up paid membership. OK if you live up the road in the USA but not if you’re from Europe.
0.5 / 5.0
the weather only
Zahyra, Julio and Dora from public relations all work together to scam clients
no service at all, food is terrible, they’re cleaning the pool during the day while guests are around, there is no beach

the property was amazing and service staff was phenomenal
the food was just okay and we really did not like how pushy and rude the salespeople were
4.5 / 5.0
The staff was friendly and helpful. We liked the evening entertainment. Having four different restaurants gave us a lot of variety. Loved the coffee bar in the lobby. The location of the hotel and view from the rooms were fantastic. The all-inclusive experience can't be beat.
The bathroom needed remodeling. It was old. The snorkeling gear that was provided wasn't complete. It was only a pair of fins. A game room is needed for inclement weather. We weren't impressed with the food at the Mexican restaurant (and it was the new menu).

Great staff, especially Maria who cooked eggs and Bryan in the Mexican food restaurant
Italian food not as good. Arancini was actually polenta. Risotto not good consistency

Room was big and spacious. The snack and coffee place in the lobby that serves amazing cakes, crepes, ice cream until 11pm!
Staff were attentive and effective. Special thank you to Hanna from the restaurant and to Joel at reception for his great service!
There was a great snorkeling spot right in front of the hotel and the beautiful beaches locate south were easily accessible by taxi or car
The hotel is more for families with kids rather than couple or group of friends. The hotel also had a bit of an old fashion style (although the room was well maintained and very comfortable) and some areas were in the middle of renovation/painting

the friendly staff
food was pretty good but could’ve been better

Food was satisfactory but not great. Service slow at times. Location close to town but very small property and felt confined. Snorkelling was great but did not allow it past 5:30.
As above.

The food was good for the most part.
No beach ! The facility is not diverse. We often would be skipped by staff being that we were people of color. They would ask everyone around us but us for our order.

The main asset of this resort are the people. The service provided was outstanding. Everybody is very attentive, friedly and handsome. The food was very good an the buttets for breakfast is awesome. Dinner in the restauraunts also exceeded our expectations a lot. This resort is highly recommended by us. All rooms have a balcony with a nice sun-set sea view!!
Unfortunetly the hotel has no beach as it is located on the clips (beachfront has rocks). The has installed ladders to provide access to the sea.

The room was clean, as well as the overall hotel.
One day after arriving, the hotel staff decided to start renovating the room directly next to us. By renovating, I mean loud power tools and hammers and a strong smell of paint or some type of chemical. We addressed this with the front desk who asked if I could give her a schedule of when we would be out of the room so they could work then. I found that to be ridiculous since we were on vacation and didn't really have a schedule. I asked if they could just work after we checked out since the smell was giving me a headache, and she agreed to that. Several hours later, the workers were back in the room and that continued throughout our stay even after visiting the front desk AGAIN to let them know they were still working.
As soon as we checked in, one of the staff members grabbed us and started pressuring us to sign up for a one day trip to one of their sister hotels. We had a difficult time getting away from him and it was sort of overwhelming. He was talking very fast, offering us free gifts (a Jeep for the day, hotel credits for massages, etc) and I was having a hard time understanding what the point of the entire conversation was for. Fast forward a few days later when we went to the sister hotel, we found out it was for another high pressure sales pitch for a $750,000 membership to their hotel chains. And yes, you read that right, $750,000! I would highly recommend allowing your guests to at least get settled in before trying the high pressure sales tactics.
The food was very disappointing, to say the least. It defeats the purpose of paying for all inclusive when you have to go outside the hotel to pay for good food. Several of the meals were actually not edible--the food was so overcooked you couldn't even chew it.

The food was very good
the noise in the room

I requested a beachfront room and it turns out this hotel doesn’t have beach access. I don’t as very disappointed. For the price I paid I was interested in beach access. I was in the third floor with beach view. I paid extra for the beach front.

The staff was amazing, everything you need is at your fingertips, even some things you don't know you need (a screwdriver to fix a broken suitcase lock). The property, location and amenities were all solid, but the staff is what separates this property.

Big modern room with nice sea view. Multiple restaurants onsite - the Asian was very good, the Italian was average, the others weren’t open during our stay. Drinks at the lobby bar were well mixed, in other places the weren’t so great so we always got the from the bar. You can go diving with the hotel which was reasonably priced & efficient & snorkel right in front of the hotel.
It’s very big & very busy with most people there to drink all day long - mostly Americans. There’s a cheesy show each night, it’s a bit like a cruise ship vibe but on land. They wanted an extra $100 at check in for a king bed, we didn’t pay it & got 2 small doubles so had to take one each rather than share. Food at the pool restaurant is poor - avoid, so are the drinks.

Great location
Staff was not as accommodating as I would expect from an all inclusive
