This house was perfect and the price was on point. This was the first time renting a vacation home and after this experience, we will certainly be doing it again and again. There are a few little details that may need addressed but that’s par for the course. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Loved the area this spacious home was in. Close to all the St. Augustine action, but far enough away from the hectic traffic. The beach was super close and even had a Publix just a few miles away. Plenty of elbow space for families. The decor was appealing and the beds were comfortable, however, the home has been well "loved" and isn't as crisp, clean and new as the photos portray. Had a small issue with ants and a super clogged master shower, but the team at Vacasa did their best to fix while we were there. Overall, a wonderful family experience.

This is a beautiful and spacious home in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The walking path to the beach is at the end of the street and barely a 5 min walk. Downtown is not even a 15min car ride away. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting St Augustine.

Great house. Walk to beach in 2 minutes. St. Augustine is the best city !

We enjoyed our stay and that the house was so close to the beach. The house was roomy and accommodated our group perfectly. The yard was great for playing games. We grilled and enjoyed sitting on the deck. One negative would be the lack of towels (body, face, dish, and beach).

The house was beautiful & spacious. The kitchen was absolutely beautiful. And the dining table had room for a large family. It was very comfortable for a family of 6. The garage had bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, & a cooler to use. The area feels safe & was very quiet. The beach is about 3 blocks away where there is a small entrance path. You can drive to other entrances that have showers & restrooms. What we didn't like was the cheap furniture. One dresser was literally one its side when we got there because the legs were broken. The front of the dresser in the bunk bed room completely came off when trying to open the dresser. There was a screw sticking out of the bunk bed (near the mattress) that cut my son and the washing machine smelled like mold. There was only one beach towel so be sure to bring your own. You can tell that other guests have been really hard on this house. The pots and pans were so scratched up that we were unable to use them and lots of damage to the walls and floor near the stairs. Before leaving we saw two palmetto bugs walking across the dishwasher. Some directions on how to use the tv and thermostat would have been helpful, as each seemed to have a mind of their own and were hard to control. But again the house was beautiful & very roomy.

My 5 friends and I (originally was 8 total), had an easy time accessing the front door code and lock, not so much the garage door. Walked in and it was very spacious and pretty, however, the more we looked around the more we noticed the walls were scuffed, missing stair piece, broken light fixtures, they only supplied one of everything, such as trash bags and paper towels. Other than these few complications, this house was perfect location to both ocean and inter coastal. Very nice rooms, and they even provided us with travel sized shower necessities. The only major downfall for our trip, was trying to get into contact with the property manager. We tried texting, customer support, the number given in the house, even responding to emails, and I was not provided with a timely response if I even got one.

What a great location for our catch up. 2 blocks from an amazing beach and quiet and relaxed. The house is spacious and has a great big kitchen and living area. We could also drive to many places and enjoyed the visit.

To start, the home is beautiful and spacious. Unfortunately, communication with the owners was very difficult from the beginning. My friend who lives in Florida was driving across state to arrive to the home, I asked about an early check in and was not able to get a direct answer. Different people would answer my message but never truly answered my question which was extremely frustrating. I even tried rewording my questions (to ensure there wasn’t a possible language barrier) and still was unable to get a clear response. Upon arrival the house was very hot, the temperature in the home was set to 78, and when I called the number left on the welcome packet in the house the woman hung up on me once I said the house was hot. I then tried calling back and no one answered. I texted the number and they responded telling me they have no control of the temperature and would link me to someone else. Eventually I was given a passcode for the air and it was incorrect. Finally the air was adjusted but the loops I had to jump through were mind boggling. Although the house cooled off, it eventually stopped working the day before we were leaving and they had to bring someone in to restart the AC unit and the repair man advised me he visits the house on a monthly basis due to the AC problems.
In regards to the overall house, the wall paint was subpar at best. No effect on our stay but just throwing it out there.
We were 8 adults staying in the house and were left with two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom for our stay of 5 days… one roll of paper towels, approx 10 garbage bags, no tissues, and the tiniest bottle of dish soap to ever exist on the planet…. needless to say we went out and purchased all the necessities.
Although the house was spacious and pretty, I don’t think we would stay again.

We visited St Augustine/Vilano Beach over Christmas/New Years. The property feels bigger than it is, large kitchen and dining table for a large family was great for us. All the beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for a rental. We enjoyed our time in St Augustine and our VRBO house worked out really well.

This is my first time using Vacasa and I definitely enjoyed my stay! This house is great. Plenty of room for my family to hangout on the main floor - and tons of beds upstairs. And I gotta say, I loved the customer service! Any time I had a question, I immediately got a response via text. Here are the reasons I’m not giving it 5 stars: The lock on the front door is TRICKY. Whew, we pulled up after a late flight from the Jax airport and it was so dark outside. I struggled with the lock for at least 25 minutes while on the phone with customer service. So, I believe this house in particular needs some more info on how to properly open the door. Also, for the price, I expected this place to be a bit cleaner. The carpet on the stairs is really gross - tons of stains. The walls need to be painted there as well because there’s a lot of markings on the walls. And I found a lot of gnats in the house. Plus, the remote downstairs did not work for the SmartTV. I had to grab the remote from the primary room to use in the living room. I actually talked to the primary caretaker (who was awesome!) and she had someone come the next day to see if they could fix the tv. Just needed the correct remote though. So yes, awaken house but needs a few updates here and there. My family had a great time! I’d definitely come back.

My overall experience was great. Location to beach was perfect. House was great for family or extended families. We attended a family wedding, had our daughter and husband, son and wife with two grandchildren - never felt like we were stepping on each other. only negative comments were stairwell walls were pretty scuffed up and never received email about sending ID until 48 hours prior with a statement of county didn’t receive 48 hours prior we would not be able to check in. I was in a meeting, so worried we wouldn’t be able to check in due to county requirements. One suggestion would be some type of a beach cart to carry everything down to the beach.

Pros: The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked (dishes, utensils, pots and pans) and there were lots of beach accessories in the garage. The appliances (refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer seemed new. Awesome master bathroom with a tub and two-faucet walk-in shower. The beach was 3.5 blocks away in a quiet neighborhood.
Nit-picky Cons: upper rack in the dishwasher was broken, the ceiling fan in the master bedroom made a “clicking” sound that made it unusable, Nice to have a gas grill, but it was severely rusted through: part of the bottom fell out and the gas jets were very rusty. We had trouble figuring out the combination and the lock on the front door and how to use the keys, so we typically came in through the garage. The property manager sent a text asking if there was anything she could help us with, so on the first day of our visit we pointed out all of the issues listed above. She said she would contact maintenance but no one ever came. Despite the cons, we would recommend the place.

Perfect location
This was a perfect place for our family. Nice and open living area . We walked to the beach and was maybe a 10 min drive to downtown . Publix was maybe 5 min away. The only think I would of been nice is if there was more then 2 tvs. Other then that we would def book again in future .

Beach/Wedding Vacation
Renter this house for a family wedding and extended stay for the beaches. This beautifully maintained home is near the beach. Plenty of room throughout. Huge open plan: living room, dining room and huge kitchen with an enormous counter that can seat like 7 people. Kitchen has all the essentials. Comfy couches with large screen TV we all enjoyed. Everyone loved the large bedrooms with comfortable beds in all. Super clean house throughout. Grill and chairs on the back deck. Nice fenced yard for the kids to play (no weeds, beautiful lawn). Master bedroom and bathroom were very large and awesome. Walked to the beach, body boards, bikes and beach chairs were provided. Publix was close by. Overall the house was perfect and we loved it. We're planning our next stay in the spring! Definitely recommend this home to all.

Excellent Family Home & Location
This home is a very short walk to a super quiet, clean and amazing beach. The house was amazing, and made our stay so enjoyable with all it had to offer. We had 3 small families total , all with small children. The house was perfect for us!
Plenty of blankets, kitchen gadgets, beach towels and boogie boards. Backyard is great for hanging out, playing cornhole and watching anoles run around.
Only issue was that the bunk bed was broken in multiple places and is only suitable for small kids due to its condition. Do not plan to put big kids or adults on these bunk beds!
Overall, I would highly recommend this house! And will definitely seek it out when we stay again!
Thanks for the amazing stay!

family house
house was laid out for large groups wonderfully. Close to beach. Large gathering space for group activities on first floor. All good things! Not so good, we had to clean the hall toilet ourselves as black was running down the rim. Bikes are in garage but rusted chains we sprayed with wd-40 to loosen. One chain was off the sprocket. fixed these ourselves. Remote for ceiling fan in guest bedroom was on same frequency as the ceiling fan in next bedroom, so whenever you turned it on or off, the other room would respond the same. Dining room chairs all needed to be tightened. Legs were loose. One was already in garage with busted leg. We fixed that ourselves also. Bunk beds are really loose, cheap metal frames were real wobbly. we took top mattresses and put them on floor. And lastly. we called 3 days in a row to let them know that the propane tanks were empty for the gas grill and they finally got someone to bring one out wednesday halfway through our trip. Loved the house, didn't like having to make repairs on vacation.

Beautiful Home
We celebrated a bachelorette party and had plenty of space! Beautiful home, clean, close to the beach!!! Owner was quick to reply about a small issue we had. Only suggestion I would make is to have the guest bathtub looked at. It's makes a lot of noise when moving inside the shower which woke up the ladies in the adjoining rooms. Other than that amazing place to stay!

Nice for price
Nice walking distance to beach and quite location. Very nice of owner to provide to beach toys.

Nice house lacking in a few key areas. Cooking utensils could use a refreshing, broken bowl was left in cabinet. Front door lock wouldn't work and the front door has no key backup. We had to use the garage entrance the entire stay. Available bikes are not in good working conditions. Very nice house that is almost there for a perfect stay.

It was OK (great location but fell short on some of the details)
Here's the good....the best part of this property is that it is 2 blocks off the beach and was very clean (two very big and very important things for our group). Now for the not so good but honest review, while it was clear that the house is either new or newly renovated, many of the things you would expect from a VRBO just weren't there. We found out after we booked through VRBO that this house is managed through VACASA (not VRBO). The biggest issue we had with the house was in the bunk beds, which were too flimsy and super low quality to have our kids safely sleep in, especially the top bunk. The kids tried the first night and ended up sleeping on the floor because of this. The other things were minor but added up: (1) there was bagged garbage left in the garage from the prior guest when we arrived [which was really gross]; (2) the 'well stocked' house was anything but...there was ONE paper towel roll for 8 people for 4 nights [super cheap| as well as only 4 dish detergent pods and a tiny bottle of dish soap...as well the toilet paper was mentioned by all of us as being very low quality and something we were surprised they went cheap on; and (3) there was no back patio furniture.. Overall, the location was great being two blocks off the beach, but we could sense that there was no pride of ownership to this property (as we had experienced in staying in other VRBO's and AirBNB's). All this being said, none of these minor things damped our vacation at all and we still had a great time (but if you have bigger kids, know that they may feel safer sleeping on the floor than these bunk beds).

Spring Break 2021
What can I say this house is gorgeous. The pictures don’t do the house justice. Very nice neighborhood and minutes to get to the beach. The house has everything you need for cooking and making margaritas. The house is in a great area for sightseeing and seeing what St. Augustine has to offer. We are definitely looking forward to staying here again.
