Hotel has superb rooftop area with exceptional staff but more like a 3 star than a 4.

Had a family room which was ok size wise for a family of 4 but didn’t have much space to hang things/hooks etc. sink looks lovely (although our mirror above sink was badly cracked but not sure if was supposed to be as part of distressed look?) but impractical as no space around to put our 4x wash bags. Ok as only there 4 2 nights (so didn’t unpack anything) but any longer & this would have been an issue. I must add we are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers of 16 & 14, so more like 4 adults- prob ok if smaller/younger kids. I think I thought for the money we paid the room would be bigger & more like a suite than a slightly bigger room for 2 people with 2 extra beds in. Staff were exceptional though & couldn’t do enough for us. Particularly the head of reception & 2 other reception staff (a young girl & a man but I’m sorry I can’t remember their names.Also loved the rooftop pool area! All looked really new, clean, trendy & was the highlight of the stay!

Room size (as per above) & some shared parts of the hotel (corridors/gym for eg) in need of some TLC/updating. Stayed in many hotels recently in France/spain & this was the most expensive per night although most definitely not the most luxurious. Think this was more to do with the location & the time of year but still left me feeling we had paid a lot for what we actually got. I didn’t research the locstion/area so had no idea it was such a busy, popular & expensive resort.

Overal ok

Well not liked ; One of nastiest thing was we got checked in a room where already pple we here laying in there bed alleging en lots of mess on the room!! So we went back to reception and got a total other room. Very very bad experience and hopefully next time here I am safe from intruders / privacy offenders if it was the other way around!!

Notre chambre du 1 er étage au dessus de la laverie côté cour ron ron de la machine à laver Menu semble toujours le même Parking sur la Place de l’Europe

Absolutamente todo, gente atenta y amable en recepción, equipo de limpieza impecable, ubicación privilegiada, instalaciones súper bien conservadas, piscina espectacular, restaurante inmejorable, habitación amplia y acogedora, desayuno buffet súper variado, habían huevos fritos 🤤 todo estupendo.

Wir haben eh nur einen kurzen Aufenthalt geplant um erstmal die Costa Brava zu erkunden.

Die Lage fanden wir sehr gut. Gute Ausgangsposition. Direkt am Strand. Das Einkaufszentrum nah dabei. Sehr gute Restaurants und auch Geschäfte. Es gab viel zu sehen. Auch der Supermarkt um die Ecke. Das Zimmer ist immer super sauber gereinigt worden. Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Alles frisch von Backwaren, Gemüse ,Salat, Käse, Wurst , (der Schinken war mit das Beste) Spiegel-Rührei und Omelett, Säfte bis zum Kaffee in vielen Sorten und noch einiges mehr. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich.

Wir haben vergebens die Strandliegen (Fotos auf den Hotelseiten)gesucht. Auch Strandtuecher gab es nicht. Das Restaurant vor dem Hotel fanden wir nicht einladend. Die Nachbarhotels sahen Greulich aus. Der Boden und die Polsterstühle vom Frühstücks Raum waren nicht sauber. Die Dusche auf der Dach Terrasse hat nicht funktioniert. Dann der Lärm im Hotel in der Nacht. Es gab Gäste die keine Rücksicht genommen haben. Diese sind zwischen 5Uhr -6Uhr gekommen. Haben laut geschrien vor dem Eingang und auf den Fluren die Türen geknallt.

Very good

The location of the hotel is excellent and the workers are friendly.

The AC in our room wasn’t functioning well, we tried to call the reception at night to ask for help but no one was answering the phone, so we slept with the balcony’s door opened.

The shower was very good. Friendly personnel, but they don't greet you usually. The location is awesome. There is a wonderful path near the hotel along cliffs through very beautiful beaches.

The schedule of the pool isn't convenient. It closes at 8.00pm. Water in the pool feels pretty cold in cold weather. The room was pretty small. The bed was soft but small, I think it was smaller than 1.6m. The sink in the room was beautiful but inconvenient. Water is everywhere after washing a face.

Excellent location in front of the beach and within walking distance of the main shopping street.

Excellent location and breakfast: varied and extended. Dog snacks upon arrival !

Check-in could have been faster. I had some stairs to climb despite the presence of an elevator. More practical information sharing (a map on where to park for example) would have been very much appreciated - especially in the case of a major local event ... I was there during the Spanish triathlon championships making access to the hotel by car impossible and, on foot, very complicated.

Overall a pleasant stay, minor negatives and not all of them in the control of the hotel.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great. Great location (on most days). The room was nice and mostly comfy.

The room was a bit cold and we could not find out how to raise the temperature. Triathlon ongoing in Platja D´aro so we could not get our car near the hotel, had to park far away and walk for approximately 10 minutes with our luggage. Not the fault of the hotel, but bothersome

If the airco works it will be a good hotel

perfect location and nice staff

The airconditioning didn’t work in april, it was to hot and outside (with open windows) to much noise . Also a very light room (no good curtains). For the price of a sea view room not a good price-quality than.

Perfect.

Yes, this place was as per other reviews ideal for our needs. It is a little quirky which is nice and it is also very well run. We were lucky to get the most amazing sea view. Thank for making our stay so pleasant. Staff are excellent.

Location great. Staff fantastic. Beds were comfortable.

Air con in room did not work. After 3 complaints we received an answer the air con is centrally heated and turned up on high as Spanish people are cold. No air circulation in room. Shower leaking had to call housecleaning. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the room. There are 3 of us, and very limited where to put suitcase.
