The view and property was beautiful!
We were upgraded to a room that had plunge pool. Our friend’s plunge pool heated, we asked three times about the temperature in the plunge pool in our room and were told three different stories as to why it wasn’t working. The maintenance guy came up and turned the thermostat on, and the last day before we left the plunge pool finally warmed. So we didn’t get to enjoy it. Everything it was great.

mooi hotel

Perfect location
Wonderful buffet breakfast overlooking the sea
Good drinks and friendly service by Lenka by the pool
Vasilis arranged for a lovely dinner on the beach which was the highlight of our trip
Spyros was so friendly and helpful, we very much enjoyed his wonderful dinner recommendation for our last night in town
Comfortable beds and pillows
Clarins toiletries were a nice touch
Beautiful views from our room and from the pools
Comfortable lounge chairs with thick cushions and big umbrellas
Easy walk to restaurants and shopping
The room was a little tight but the view more then made up for it.
The chair in the room was somewhat uncomfortable but we weren't in the room much so it didn't really impact our enjoyment. The loungers at the pool and the beach were great!

Location was gorgeous - overlooking the sea. Breakfast was really nice, we got a free upgrade to a plunge pool room. The staff were amazing, especially the lady who was cooking omlettes on her own on Sun 7th April - she did a brill job under serious pressure. We felt really looked after. The hotel was beautiful and setting gorgeous. It was also really quiet and amazing value. We will come again.
The pool was cold (april) but you got used to it and it's such a lovely area to sit around and relax.

I couldn’t fault the property. The location was very central and property was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. My suitcase was lost in transit and they followed it up for me. It was handy having the beach across the road.
Couldn’t fault property

Definitely the best hotel in Agios Nikolaos.
Very lovely place with charming, kind and helpful team. Something that is not made clear enough here - there is a private mini beach outside the hotel so I don’t need to go 700m to the beach, and of course, beautiful pools inside the hotel. We’re glad we were here and very recommend this lovely place.

right from the entrance to the hotel I was greeted nicely, the reception staff behaved very nicely, they explained very nicely about all the conditions in the room and the hotel. The staff at the restaurant behaved exceptionally, the food and drinks very good.

They value their customers. Staff was very helpful, friendly and happy from reception to breakfast everyone. The hotel is very clean, excellent breakfast and location. We had an absolutely amazing time at Niko Seaside Resort. The rooms werw spacious and spotless. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with huge variety of options.
Everything was great!

The hotel was immaculate, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were given an upgrade on arrival. Our flight wasn't until late at night, and there wasn't availability for a late check out. However, they allowed us to use the facilities and provided us with a room prior to our pick up to have a shower and freshen up.

The location was fantastic, very walkable.
Our air conditioner was not working at all until 1030 at night when they finally were able to reset it remotely. We had also requested our Jacuzzi spa be turned on and warmed up so we could use it when we got back we were told it would be. When we got back, it was still ice cold we never got to use it at all after spending quite a bit more for a room with a spa tub.

Everything we tried was amazing.

The pool and bedroom slippers because floors got wet.
Hotel seemed designed by a backpacker architect/designer who could not afford to stay in the hotel he/she designed. Big towels were too big for the small towel rack installed in the slippery floored "display" in-room shower set up that fogged up the room (no venting). The only hooks in the room were an inch apart--useless, every room needs hooks if you want us to be environmentally conscious or should we throw towels on floor? Robes cannot be hung if luggage is on the ONLY luggage rack. Put wet towels, swim wear, or bathrobes on floor or bed? Couples who can afford ACCOR line generally can afford separate luggage. Put 2nd luggage on floor? Sling design chairs make in room dining or computer work impossible so we moved balcony furniture inside, used table for 2nd piece of luggage. Two big areas of wood shelves are useless behind doors-- instead more luggage and hanging space. Iron but no ironing board or place for it. Toilet/dungeon area had no hand washing sink (!!!), no night light, or ventilation. When flushed, toilet sent water onto floor. All nasty. Shower area floor slippery, outside shower wet. More slippery. Small round pedestal night stand useless--square more efficient, drawers or shelves below desirable. Only place for toiletries was on room divider by sink--need counter space--who wants to look at all that in their room. Electrical outlet above sink! Bedside "reading lights" useless. We never figured out the mysterious light switches. Hotel areas outside room dangerous--8 stairs with NO hand railing from 4 to 4A, handprints on wall, dining area has subtle ramped areas where one is focused on food, plates, etc. Ramp entry area has edge marked by a strip of narrow black tape, other areas have changes in incline which are disorienting. Workers moved plants to block 3 inch step. Crazy! Designer of this hotel room should be sentencedbto spend 4-5 nights with a companion in this room.

Location good near the town, staff welcoming despite not being able to see their faces due to mask enforcement policy. Room was lovely and bed comfortable. The pool areas were spotless and the view amazing. The pool towels were good quality. The robes and slippers were nice too.
Masks on all the staff, very cruel policy which we did not see anywhere else in Crete. They looked sweltered in the heat, one had asthma and was breathless and when they pulled down their masks a lot of them had spots. We questioned why they wore them and if there was a Risk Assessment for their health. They said The Accor group was the only hotel group on the island enforcing the policy. There was no Risk Assessment and we assured them over 150 studies compiled by The Brownstone Institute for Health show masks do not prevent C19 or transmission and are extremely detrimental to health. Autopsies are showing blue fibres deep in deceased lungs. Who is benefitting from this policy? The guests were mainly young and not threatened or concerned about a 99.97% survivable bug.
Breakfast:- Same selection each day and not up to the 5 star standard. We ate in many hotels in Crete of lower standard but the breakfasts were much more varied and higher quality. The sausages were raw and the eggs weren't great.
A lot of masonic symbolism was in the hotel, from a hideous snake hung on the wall of a corridor to the hotel icon itself being Masonic Arches and a pyramid.
The shower was located in the bedroom and sprayed everywhere as the panel did not cover it. This would not suit some couples as they prefer a level of privacy.
There were extra charges for the nuts left in the room. An eye watering 6.50 euros for a tiny pot.
In every other hotel we stayed we were given a treat, eg a bottle of Raki, chocolates on our pillow, candied fruits, biscuits. In this hotel it was just water.

Comfortable bed and pillows. State of the art room with all comforts and amenities.Shower and bathroom is a great size. Awe inspiring views with a glass hot tub on the balcony that would impress anyone. Excellent breakfast. Great staff!
Alittle pricey but you pay for what you get.Great hotel! The guests like to press both up and down buttons to call the elevators to get a faster response. If you are on a higher floor it a royal pain since you might have to wait longer. This is out of the hotels control but just something to keep in mind.

I would definitely recommend it. Great location, short walk (~600m) both to the public beach and to all the restaurants. Lovely view of the sea from the room.
Sunbeds by the hotel pool and on the pier by the sea (in front of the hotel) were all reserved quite early in the morning. However this was not a problem for us as we prefered the sandy beach of Ammoudi

Location close the sea and the center of the city. Excellent breakfast & beautiful vision on the top of the hotel
Nothing

The location, in a prime spot near the town centre with beautiful sea views, was superb. The bedroom was a good size and very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and everywhere was exceptionally clean. The swimming pool was beautifully kept though there were not enough sunbeds.
It is a new hotel and there are minor teething problems. No instructions on how to connect to the WiFi or use the telephone. The shower screen was not quite large enough to prevent water from covering the floor, making it extremely slippery. There is no secure parking and whilst they are doing their best to organise a parking system it is not ideal.

amazing place, kind staff, the spa was wonderful, Vasia is the best girl! the view is breathtaking. so recommended!!! I will definitely come back!

Amazing location and view.
Super modern and luxury hotel. Comfy beds.
The location is amazing as well. Nice breakfast with stunning view. Great pool/s. Nice big and super clean rooms. Loved the clarins products in the bathroom.
Staff could be friendlier. Unfortunately, we had go get up at 6am to block our sunbeds by the pool on the 5th floor, otherwise would have been impossible to gather a spot which is super annoying. Wifi could be stronger/better,especially around the pool area.

awesome parking situation (valet)
loved the soaps in the shower, clarins
4.7
lovely bedroom, beautiful view of the bay / sea, great staff and breakfast
Room could be a little bigger as a tight squeeze with 2 people and 2 suitcases. Also we were a couple and had two single beds pushed together

The hotel is so beautiful, excellent panorama, located next to the beach. Niko team is the best team we have ever met.
We are impressed by room services and cleaning services.
Every personnel is kind and friendly and make us feeling like being at home.
Thank you very much again Niko team, and especially Mrs. Stavroula for fullfilling all our wishes and Mr. Vasilis. for tanking big care of
our car.

Everything! One of the best hotels.
The fresh juice on breakfast is brilliant.
The room is amazing.
The staff is super professional.
The lightening is wow.
Maybe surround the shower with transparent silicone so that no water comes out.
