The Congo Palace is my regular stopover when I'm going or returning from Naxos. It provides exactly what I need in bed-size, comfort and location to catch up with friends,

Good location; room was billed as a Junior Suite but was essentially a large room with a sofa. Breakfast Ok for the category of hotel.
For a suite, expected a better room - not size, but quality

The hotel served as my home base for my travels throughout Greece. As a result, the location was excellent for getting into Athens on the tram, connecting to the highway system for my daytrips to Evia, the Peloponnese, and to use the ferry service for a bit of island hopping. The location was close to shopping, and a wide variety of restaurants and cafes.
While the lobby was great, the restaurant was good for a vegetarian, the room was in need of a bit of updating. The onsite parking capacity was adequate.

The public areas of the hotel were very nice and the staff were lovely.
The bedrooms needed updating. The breakfast was average and evening meals unimaginative and bland.

Nothing, biesides the location of the hotel.
I checked in at the hotel on September 19 th for 1 night, only after I checked in they told me there was no water at the hotel for that night. They could not give us a time for how long it would take to be fixed. Only thing they confirmed is that it would not be resolved that day, and would most probably be resolved the following day.The hotel staff was not cooperating , or trying to find solutions for their guests. They were rude and on the defence, took no ownership of the problem. We were Unable to wash your hands, go to the washroom, or take a shower. The weather in Athens was over 30 degrees. No water was being distributed to its guests. I had to book another hotel with amenities for the night of the 19th of September as I was taking a 10 hour flight the next day. The hotel was very unnaccomodating, and refused to refund me or find a solution. Why did they let me check in for that night knowing there was no running water. This is my second experience with the same issue at that hotel. I will never stay there in the future and will not recommend it to anyone else.

Location was good.
The room is very poor, extremely old with dirty floor; everything inside the room is old.. And at sunrise the light comes out of the bad curtains and couldn’t sleep a night. The room phone was not working and couldn’t communicate with the reception desk. I wanted to leave but unfortunately couldn’t find availability in another nearby hotel. It was a nightmare for me and will never recommend it to anyone.

about the only thing that was worth noting on a positive side was the location and limited sea view. it was very close to Glyfada center which was nice.
where do I start. the rooms were very deceiving from the booking pictures. both rooms we had were old and run down. looks like very limited maintenance was done. the carpet was tearing and bathrooms needed a full remodel. the kids rooms had a very uncomfortable beds which we had to switch rooms twice.
when we asked for better rooms they asked for higher rates which was not deserving. the staff was accommodating to a certain degree.
just for the record. no iron. stone ages blow dryer, no in room working phone.

Good things about this hotel are countless , let me start with the team on the reception who made their guests feel like home , we were welcomed by Mr Stergios warm smile I asked for a sea view room and I was given more than I expected ,his professional action reflected a high degree of well service oriented employee , keen for guest satisfaction , 👏👏as for location it’s the best you can find in glyfada ,, 5 minutes walk to a wonderful beach having a cafe few meters away from the water ,, another few steps on the left from the hotel door where ISLAND coffee shop is located ,the aroma of morning pastry led us blindly to its counter it has within a connected entry to a mini market where tourists find their own daily things ,,, extra few steps on the same side to find a beautiful local restaurant serving food with a very beautiful setting ,, keep walking extra meters and you are in front of bus stop having many destinations plus airport bus X96,,, keep walking extra meters you are now in the city center where shops, restaurants , car rentals ,,, everything their left and right and in parallel, diversity of food , shops ,, food chains as well ,, more steps you reach MATAXA square where anyone can spend whole vacation there ,, now to move out of this area you need to cross traffic light 5 minutes away from the hotel where The ARK restaurant is located with breath taking view of the sea , from the same point a tram/ bus or taxi to be taken if planning a visit to VARi and Vouliagmeni lake most highly end districts with cafes , beautiful beaches and restaurants , the location is SUPER👍👍 ,, the room was clean , I read reviews criticizing the noise of the street which I found normal if balcony’s room door is closed since their Air condition works perfectly,, breakfast buffet was diverse for a very reasonable price 👍pool big and clean ,WIFi perfect ,rooms furniture and space was perfect not as I read in previous reviews ,, I highly recommend this beautiful place...
Nothing I didn’t like ,, this hotel deserves good recognition.
