Ok , wouldn’t rush back

Good location , it was clean and tidy .

Needs a bit of attention around the pool and spa area . Breakfast staff weren’t brilliant, forgot milk for coffee, asked for toast twice, forgot to take my order.

Has the potential to be great

Stunning property and great location to the town. Rooms are spacious.

It isn’t being run as a premium hotel, staff need better training and service is challenging at times, particularly at breakfast. And there is a lack of attention to detail.

A perfect two night spa trip

A wonderful hotel, very grand with lovely rooms. Staff were super helpful, Im allergic to feather bedding so they changed it without a problem. We loved going to the spa and swimming pool. (gowns and slippers provided) Hotel was only a 10 min walk into the town centre so after a big breakfast at the hotel the walk was very much needed. Bath is a beautiful town to explore.

Good experience with our kids

We really enjoyed the hotel. There is truly a beautiful garden where the kids were able to play football, and a nice swimming pool. A particular bonus for the restaurant, which we found particularly good. We had diner there both evenings, because it was practical for sure but also because the quality was really there.

The outlets in the room, you can't charge your phone next to the bed, you have to leave it by the desk - we realized later on that is quite common in England, the outlets are quite outdated, but here it is. Overall the place would certainly benefit from being refreshed in certain regards. But overall, I would happily go back.

First impression good, sadly shabby spa and detail.

The hotel is in gorgeous grounds and the building is impressive. the room (deluxe double with garden view) was generous in size and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.

The Spa was in need of complete refurbishment, a clean and repair at least. The tiles on the outside thermal pool were broken, at eye level the sunloungers were green underneath with algae / growth and in need of a good pressure wash! Also yellow / black tape on the faux wood decking which was broken. Breakfast was £26 but selling avocado and nice coffees at extra cost make this hotel appear 'cheap' Ensuite was also in need of freshen up, mouldy silicone around sinks.

Enjoyable long weekend break

The location of the hotel is very good as could easily walk into Bath although it is uphill on the way back! The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfy. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

As I have medically diagnosed dietary requirements I found the breakfast choices were quite limiting and even though I made a special request this was not entirely followed. I did mention when checking out that £18 for a breakfast each day considering what I had eaten was a little excessive.

very disappointed with our room for the 1st night. 2nd night they changed our room that was warm

spa was good, breakfast nice, hotel an amazing building BUT our room had torn curtains, heating did not work, no heating in bathroom and parts of the bath were filthy and slept in a very cold room after repeatedly notifying reception in person. also Wi-Fi not good at all.

cold room, cold bathroom, filthy bath, no WIFI after checking out, i was promised a call the following day that never came.

Lovely family stay

Beautiful, breathtaking!

The mattress was spring coil which was worn and made noises when you turned. The mattresses need to be updated.

Lovely hotel nice staff nice rooms but the spa area is letting you down

Good position just out of the busy town.

Spa disappointing green mould and black mould in a lot of places some of this could easily be wiped off so total lack of cleaning and upkeep. Broken tiles. Aroma steam room a revolting smell of just man sweat. Showers in this area are not functioning as they should either. Pool overcrowded and tiny and shallow and too hot just a breeding ground for bugs i expect. This is such a let down for this nice hotel. Please revamp this area and make the pool bigger. The short term investment would pay off long term.

Lovely visiting Bath nice friendly hotel just needs some looking after

Lovely hotel comfy beds friendly staff Nice place to stay to visit Bath we walked into bath left the car in car park

Rooms were not very clean tbh bath was dirty and needed a good clean sheet were marked as well also thought the pool area needed a sort out tired and dirty

Excellent apart from breakfast

Great location, friendly staff, lovely spa and comfortable rooms.

Breakfast needs improvement. Ordered room service for 9.00 and no sign of it. Went to Dining room and there was barely any food and the staff had disappeared. The food we had past its best. This hotel is great and we have stayed many times but probably only experienced 1 good breakfast. Please make some changes.

Great spar lovely room. Some staff very helpful but not all.

My husband is an xl size and the spar gowns in the room was not did ask if they had a larger size they said yes but none arrived after 4 days. The continental breakfast was lovely but the cooked breakfast was not Premier Inn was better. The staff at breakfast were very good.

Wonderful stay at the Bath spa hotel

The size of the room was great, dual aspect so wonderful view and also every single member of staff was so polite and helpful, Peter on the front desk on our arrival, Mr Singh in the restaurant on our visit was very attentive. And the two staff that served us in the bar on different occasions were great 👍🏻

Bath didn't seem to drain all that quick so showered in a couple of inches of water

Beautiful hotel set in beautiful grounds

Beautiful building set on lovely well kept grounds. The spa and swimming area were also lovely. Bedroom was clean, big and spacious and had all the facilities we needed.

Breakfast was overpriced. It was cold, tasteless and tough. Disappointing really!

Great stay. Very relaxing :-)

The property is just beautiful, we last stayed back in 2018 and still just as lovely as it was then. This was a stay for our honeymoon and the towels were in shape of swans with rose petals. Beautiful touch!

The breakfast wasn’t as great at it used to be. The hash browns were very floppy but overall it was ok :-)

Relaxing weekend

Poor quality over priced

Dinner Friday night ,room given after complaining, afternoon tea Friday afternoon ,outdoor pool

Being put in a lower standard room whe we arrived, clothes on hanger left in the floor with a bad on them ,clothes on hangers for a reason. Saturday breakfast a shambles and a buffet breakfast in a hotel like this unbelievable.saturday day night meal ,forgot my order, only 3 tables in the restaurant at the time ,excellent skin on chips Friday, cheap oven chips Saturday night. Had much better value in 3 star hotels and better service.

Front of house staff were stressed, there were too few of them, and they needed much more training. “This is my first day” is not an excuse for repeatedly failing to bring toast, cutlery etc to the table, or to be completely unable to calculate the bill - not 5* service
