Lots of space for parking, great bar and the decor was very modern/tasteful, the fire on entry was sooooo welcoming as I arrived on my motorcycle in the early evening; bitterly cold, the duty staff guy was very friendly, the room was meticulously clean as was the bathroom, the bed was spacious and cosy, the layout of the hotel was very grand and left plenty of space to manoeuvre, the breakfast was excellent and the morning staff friendly(not the usual grumpy morning wife!), I simply couldn't fault this hotel. I would be back in a second and get the four poster to try and impress the wife. I loved it
The fact that i was only staying for one night......and I arrived in the early evening. What a great find, it's a wonderful place to visit.

Lovely friendly staff. Delicious food (breakfast and evening meal). Luxurious surroundings. Perfect base for exploring the Dale's and Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

Seemed to meet our needs very well at this time. Food was served hot & there were lots of breakfast choices.
Dinner choices were limited what we had was good but my partner would have preferred a couple of classic dishes to choose from.

Beautiful Location, very friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Very dog friendly even providing breakfast for him.
We had to change our feather pillows due to an allergy, and the replacements were a little hard. Meal on the 2nd night not as good as they had ran out of the main meal of lamb, which looked delicious.

Everything was lovely, from the soap in the bathrooms to the decor to the food and drink, the lavander in the garden and lights in the dinning room. Comfy beds and accomodated dog perfectly while eating. Have already recommeded to others. Breakfast very generous and evening meal really tasty.
We wanted to stay longer.

The building was beautiful and exceptionally decorated. The food was excellent too. It was just on the edge of Settle so really easy to walk into the town.
We had a room overlooking the kitchen so it was a bit noisy with deliveries and wheelie bins early in the morning.

The hotel was in beautiful grounds .The staff were welcoming and it was immaculately clean .The prices were great value.
Would have liked 2 chairs in our room as one had to.sit on the bed
4.3
comfortable bed, breakfast and dinner were nice, for a 1 night stop, great
Small room for the price paid, we had one in the roofing, quite a trek up with the heavy cases, no help offered

The building and area is very nice, and it was a great base for us to visit the Dales, Lake District, and Harrogate.
The property has a nice garden and outdoor seating area, and the gardens are very well kept (all the lavender is especially nice).
The views from the room were also very nice.
Good breakfast.
The building has so much potential that ultimately we were a little underwhelmed with the actual experience, especially for the price paid.
A few areas that we think could be easily fixed with a few tweaks were:
Staff - all the staff were nice and helpful, but it's clear that whilst some are very experienced there are others that could do with better support or management/leadership to improve the experience for guests. Examples include vacuuming whilst guests are eating breakfast, vaping at reception (not brazenly - the staff member didn't realise I was there), and not much teamwork on show (it all felt a bit uncoordinated).
Cleanliness - it's an old building so understandably more difficult to clean, but it didn't feel as well cleaned as it could be. Examples include a dead woodlouse on fresh towels, tiny bits of mould in the bathroom, and dust.
Noise - the rooms let a lot of noise in. Whilst there wasn't any weddings on during our stay we could hear conversations at reception and outside - enough to disrupt getting to sleep. Small suggestion would be a small (and cheap) amenity kit with earplugs and an eye mask or something.
All the above might sound overly critical but the price was quite high for the area and the above are quite quick and cheap fixes that would create a much better experience that the property deserves.

A beautiful setting in North Yorkshire. The Falcon Manor exceeded our expectations. Comfortable, with good staff and food. Local brewery beers.
Comfy bed, beautiful room. Great food and staff.

Loved the building and the decor.
The breakfast was included and was amazing.
The location was beautiful.
Shame we were only staying the one night.
I couldnt open the window and it was very warm in the room.
Also a little write up in the room about breakfast times and WiFi etc would have been good. I'm just nit picking as this would not put us off staying again or recommending it.

Very friendly staff and a wonderful building atmosphere. The breakfast is great , sadly we did not try out dinner
Wifi did not work properly

Everything was great

The bedroom was lovely, just like the pictures advertised. The window offers a picturesque view of rolling hills and the charming village scenery. Dinner was reasonably priced and portioned, and breakfast was excellent. The atmosphere and aesthetics were delightful. Would absolutely recommend for a staycation!
Settle, the town itself, completely surpassed my expectations. It felt like stepping into a fairytale with its enchanting gardens, rolling hills, quaint farms, and charming cottages. The creativity displayed in the lovely figures crafted from flower pots added an extra touch of magic to the whole experience. Truly a dreamlike setting!

Beautiful building ..wonderful service .. amazing food ..

The room was a little warm, and opening the window for fresh air meant the noise from a nearby generator or refrigeration unit came in and was distracting at night.
4.3
The beautiful old building set in the lovely grounds and the fact parking was right at the front door off the street. The dining room was very elegant and staff provided excellent service.

Lovely place to stay
4.3
Very comfortable room with a large double bed. Nice restaurant on site, although the 3 course menu was a bit limited in choice. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
Our room was at the back overlooking the bins and above the kitchen doors. The noise and colourful language of the staff meant keeping the windows closed, which in turn made the room a bit stuffy

Stunning location.
More variety on dinner menu

The building itself is very attractive. The pub area is also cozy and clean. The staff were professional and polite. They placed us in a larger room since we were staying for bit. Provided extra drinking glasses upon request. The walking trail through the pasture near the property was a wonderful find.
The building is stunning so when you enter and go to your room you are taken aback by how tired and worn out the hallways and floors are. The carpet should have been changed years ago. The operational features are in place - good water pressure, internet service and hair dryer. Many of the walls are in need of a fresh coat of paint and the dark maroon walls could benefit from a fresh and brighter color. Although the staff made every attempt at getting it right, the coffee was watery and weak. As for visiting Settle, do not bother with the market on Tuesdays as promoted. The vendors are mostly selling items made in China and we were expecting vendors to be selling local produce, organic farm products, etc.

Lovely hotel and staff, short walk, under 10 minutes into Settle.
Tried to phone before to check I had booked 2 x double rooms, which I had and also to book evening meal. Rang several times and left messages but no response so we ate elsewhere on the way.

An amazing place. When you walk in you feel like you’re stepping back in time. Very welcoming. The staff were really friendly. We received an upgrade to our room which had a bath next to the window for an amazing view whilst having a soak :-). The room was tastefully furnished with all the facilities you could ask for. The evening meal was delicious and the full English breakfast was top-notch. Such a relaxing place.
Nothing. Perfect stay

It felt like a home from home. The staff could not do enough for us and the room we stayed in (the Turret Suite) was lovely.
