Could have been better

Infinity pool was good. However on the third morning while using the pool we were asked to vacate the pool since your tech wanted to scrub the pool ! That was indeed disappointing. Break fast was satisfactory, however the egg counter / chapatti / roti canai counter was / is too far away from the main tables,

The egg counter should be closer with better signage. Room floor appeared to be dusty and not mopped. Hot water shower handle kept falling off and was not screwed on properly. Corridor passage roof was leaking and and not rectified in the three days we were there.

my first room was horrible.... it smell and it seem like not ready to be stay.... it sooo much diff fr the picture in the booking website.so rundown....the dust in the toilet...best part the toilet cant flush well... it sooo gross. than we got a diff room....fair enough...still the toilet smell....and the toiletries is the worst I got....even a motel toiletries is better thn them... I use to stay since last 10 yrs...always my first choice ....this round is the worst!!

please look into everything.

Disrespectful Policy: No hotel entering before check in time

1) We arrived early before 11am to avoid traffic jams during the school holiday. Once I stepped out of my car at the hotel car park, I was approached by the security manager and I was told that Thistle Hotel policy does not allow hotel visitors to enter the hotel before check-in time at 3pm. But he allowed me to come back after 12:30pm later. It is really a disrespectful, inconsiderate, and impolite hotel policy. I have been to many world-class hotels in many countries and I even stayed in Thistle Hotel for personal or corporate events over the past few years. This time, Thistle Port Dickson is the only hotel in the world that I have visited that blocks visitors from entering the hotel compound before check-in time. 2) Hotel room is old and the toilet is not clean. 3) Swimming pool slides ripped and maintenance is needed.

The breakfast wasn't the best and didn't seem fresh.. Omelette was badly made and not cooked properly inside.. Roti canai was a frozen readymade one that was heated up.. The room felt old and towels smelt like it as well.. Problems with the AC too..

I really enjoyed my stay here definitely

I found that the staffs there are very polite and helpful especially the guards at the guardhouse. You feel welcomed by them. I also liked the facilities provided. Varieties .

Maybe you should change the check-in system so that it is faster

Enjoyable, relaxing and peaceful.

Clean, spacious and safe.

Jacuzzi too crowded with kids. Only one bathroom near pool couple with low water pressure.

the kiddie pool is so good, and the beach is near and clean. the room is big and comfortable

the room is rather old, the paint smell is quite strong. some of the part is dirty with ?bird’s dropping. parking is so random, no proper designated carpark

Food is ok. Check in is fast.

I got a room in Level 2 which is in bad shape. The shower is clogged. The room looks so old. Ask for room change but not allowed. Very disappointed.

The price is overrated for the place. Not clean. The food was not good. Paying almost RM400 without breakfast is definitely not worth it. Booking.com misled us by not disclosing clearly that no breakfast was included during the booking.

A classic getaway resort good for family

Although old, Thistle always maintains its high standard in keeping all the facilities working and the guest happy.

The lift is congested during peak pool time or breakfast. The lift buttons need servicing too especially on the 6th floor.

excellent location and pool facilities. room facilities need to be repaired

the kids facilities. kids enjoyed the pool, beach, and the bunkbed

a bit rundown. we can't lock both back and front doors properly, a lot of ants in the room, food was nice but service was a bit slow. room cleanliness was just fair. can actually feel and see the dirty floor when we checked in. i had 2 male staffs trying to get in my room without knocking or ringing the room bell after 1 hour of checking in during my first stay..

It was pleasant.

The hotel and facilities are good. If however, you had been to the hotel that it once was, you might be disappointed. As it is, it is a decent enough hotel and resort.

They need to do something about the parking situation. Perhaps open a bigger parking area.

the Swiming pool was nice and clean

the food was so bad , breakfast was really awful everything not fresh ,the bread looks stay 1 week they couldn’t give us a proper omelet even the in room food as well was so bad cheese in my sandwich was old the room was full of bugs and ants and so crowded and noisy coz of the sport competition from 6:30 am
