Location
Single bed was tiny and the quilt was same
length as child’s quilt… I’m only 5ft 8 and my ankles/feet were hanging out of the bottom.

The staff were all excellent; friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic. Breakfast was first class, as were the evening bar meals (although I thought £9 for a dessert was a little steep). The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a great, walk-in shower as well as a slipper bath, the towels were luxurious and there was a good supply of excellent quality tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits etc.
Parking was free and the hotel was in a good location for our sight seeing. The gardens were beautiful and well kept, providing a lovely place near the bar to have a drink!
Some areas of the hotel were shabby and could do with refurbishment and the pillows were hard. We would have preferred a fridge in our room to a trouser press.
4.1
The outside and communal areas.
The room, the double bed was very uncomfortable. I did not sleep well.
4.1
Comfortable relaxed.
Before arrival Tara was very thoughtful re the room as I have a disabled badge.
The pillows need replacing! I have a slightly painful neck and softer pillows would have been helpful. They all seemed rather tired & well used.

Friendly staff and a decent breakfast.
Rooms need updating and one of the hardest matrasses we've even slept on.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, as they had put myslef and 3 children in a family room, and we had requested the triple room, we were moved immediately, my husband and child were putin a double room and they moved in to the family room.
The staff at breakfast were more than happy to make our teenagers a bacon and sausage sandwich for breakfast, which the devoured without complaint.
Nice place to go again perhaps without the children next time. lol.
I think the bathroom in the triple room needs upgrading. I found it difficult to manouver to the side of the toilet to reach the taps for the shower and bath, as the young one was having a shower i got drenched turning it on as you have to lean over the toilet to reach the taps.

Breakfast was great every day, room was fine, clean and quiet, all good.
Just a personal feeling , the staff could have been a bit more 'chatty', their service was good but very impersonal, could have been a little more 'friendly/talkative' to guests..........just my feeling, they are probably told not to, ha ha!

The room was perfect for what we wanted. Nice, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was great.
The hotel staff were outstanding, one of our party had a medical emergency whilst staying, and James, the restaurant manager, and all of his team who worked that night were phenomenal. Middle of the night, and they helped with room relocation, first aid, you name it, and nothing was too much trouble. Great little hotel and great team. Thank you.

Breakfast was good. Staff member polite and cheerful.
Entrance area and corridors on all levels could do with freshening up.
4.1
Quiet place for me to work
4.1
Convenient location. Good quality dinner and breakfast. Staff polite. Clock radio in room and hairdryer provided.
No help with luggage on arrival. Radiator wasn't switched on in my room; one in bathroom was but was broken and couldn't be switched off. Pipes noisy. No pictures on walls. Shower head needed descaling and light pull was grubby.

Location is perfect, set on a high street with similar style of buildings.
Breakfast was filling & good service.
Room was right at the back so quiet & heating was great for a cold weekend.
Beautiful hotel for Christmas time, parties, meetings & meals
We have a standard size car but entering the carpark 1 speed bump little high, car didn’t like!
We are fit & able to do the stairs but there were quite steep to reach 1st floor, saw a lift but unsure if for people/luggage
Room was quiet itself but the banging of doors in hallway woke us up at times
No butter provided at breakfast we & another table had to ask for it!
