Exceptional

Place was beautiful, gorgeous view & staff were really lovely and attentive. The whole place smelt lovely and clean you could smell all the fresh cleaning done as soon as you walked in. Room was stunning bed was really comfy and we will definitely be returning!

Quality and quiet stay in a great location.

The owner was pleasant and helpful, some useful tips but I’m familiar with Bridlington. Good location, in a quiet part of town but within walking distance of the main facilities. Room was a decent size, very clean with some nice touches. Quality biscuits and folded towels. I didn’t have breakfast but I can guess it would be of a high standard.

I stayed two nights and after the first night, when I returned to my room in the afternoon my bed and room had not been cleaned! I have stayed in hotels from Bridlington to Berlin in B&B or 5* and never returned to find my bed not made or room cleaned shocking!! Breakfast was 8-9 I popped in at 08:55 and asked for a cup of tea as I was leaving only to be told no as it’s closed but the reality is the staff meeting didn’t want to do it so there choice. This was in stark contrast to the excellent and flexible service I received much to my surprise as it’s normally sorry that’s the menu! Hospitality during Covid-19 was devastated and it’s only still in recovery mode and I think business are doing more. It is the small things which makes the difference if you stay or go elsewhere.

Lovely stay at the Promenade

The location was absolutely fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable and nice and quiet.

There was no shower in the room and it was a shower tap. It would have been nice to have a proper shower in the room although the bath was lovely.

A very comfortable room and Danny was a lovely host. Perfect for my needs.

Great location and enjoyed my visit. Very quiet and very accessible. The room had all that was necessary and I am happy that I chose the Promenade Guest House

Just the shower. The on/off tap is difficult to access as it is right up against the shower door so I found once it was wet I couldn't get a purchase on it to turn it off without great difficulty.

I wish I could have stayed longer!

Everything. Dan and Pen (Danny's Dad) looked after me really well. The room was clean and although a single, had enough room with really nice furniture, plenty of storage and an en-suite. There are good hangers in the wardrobe and plenty of plug sockets, one was over the bed and I love the light beside the bed that had 2 extra USB fittings so all your charging needs are covered. The shower was good and water was plenty but take your own towels as these are not supplied. You need to order your breakfast the day before and hang it on a hook outside the door which is well worth the effort as Dan makes a superb breakfast. The Promenade is only a 2 minute stroll from the beach and 15 minutes from the railway station. There is a large swimming pool/Leisure Center and a cinema within one of the large arcades only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Large shopping area with a market on Wednesday and Saturday. I only stayed for 2 nights and it was well worth it. If you want to pop to Scarborough, the train takes about 30 minutes and I paid £7.20 for a return.

Not a complaint, just a mention that there is no lift.
