Lovely village and our room was in a charming old cottage down street from main hotel. Excellent dinner and fantastic massage in the spa
All 4 pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable which was a shame
3.6
The room and the location
Terrible breakfast with poor service
3.6
The charm of this very old hotel. The friendly helpful staff, the pool and spa, the delicious food. And the upgrade!
There was nothing to dislike.
3.6
nice location, good restaurant
room was not value for money, small, no chair, bad handshower only. 3 star room.

In a traditional style, quiet despite being in the centre of the village, close to the forest. charming breakfast room and peaceful garden terrace. The La Licorne restaurant is exceptional quality and the attention to quality ingredients also applies to the breakfast.

Arrived a little too late to make full use of the spa but what we did use was amazing. The staff were lovely and the food in the evening was very good. Great location too. Looks like they have buildings for the hotel all over the village!
Our room smelled a tiny bit musty

The hotel is located in the centre of the village and has lots of character.
The reception has been moved 50m down the road and so it felt very impersonal when we arrived to check in. Because the building is so old the corridors are long and quite dark and there are quite a few stairs which makes it hard carrying your luggage (there was no one available to help with the luggage).

it’s was in a quaint medieval village great location near a woods. Old fashioned charm

location. lovely village beside beautiful forest

A thoughtfully run and good looking hotel in a beautiful location. We had a fabulous meal in the restaurant and loved relaxing in the Spa. The staff were super helpful and attentive too.

Beautiful Hotel in beautiful historic Normandy village with spa/pool. We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom cottages with private terraced garden which was wonderful and actually cheaper than a double room in the hotel. The Spa is relaxing and pool is great and most welcome as it was 34 degrees. Breakfast was really nice service was good. The village is an absolute gem
nothing

Centrally located. Very nice pool. Great food, but should be as a Michelin starred restaurant.
Our 2 bed house was disappointing for a 4* hotel. No wardrobes, no kettle, tiling unfinished in bathroom and kitchen, very uncomfortable sofa and cleaning poor in places.
Breakfast was chaotic. Huge queues for the one coffee machine which frequently needed to be attended to by the two staff who were doing their best on a very busy weekend.

Nice historic location
Asked for a room with shower but didn’t get one ;shower attachment in bath(

Lovely village location.Friendly receptionist and reasonable breakfast
Dinner in the more rustic restaurant was poor - fish dish quite unpleasant although the starter was okay.
3.6
beautiful setting in a beautiful village. excellent restaurant and lovely staff.
not that it can be helped by the hotel but because the building is old, it isn’t great for sound insulation and we have some extremely noisy people with kids above us running around until 1am. I think we were just unlucky
3.6
it was well located and quite charming

Location and local area.
Space in lavatory was very small.
Step down in corridor near our room was dangerous and had no warning. Especially when carrying bags.

Position
The room was small and dark and not enough lights the bathroom and toilet door would not shut and for 238 euros it was very bad value
3.6
The (historic) hotel building, the hotel interior, free minibar, nice breakfast buffet with a Cologne cathedral view and the very spacious room itself.
Noting to add here. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Everything.....
Quite pricy
