A favourite hotel in Dieppe
Always a delight
Room large, clean and airy
The staff are friendly and very helpful
There is nothing not to like
3.9
Great position for the town and the beach.
Seagulls! They never let up squawking and squabbling even during the night when you are trying to sleep. Parking is also a bit challenging, it is very hit and miss you could find a spot close to the hotel or sometimes it could be some distance away.

Easy early departuez for ferry

Excellent location
Would be good to have tea/coffee/kettle in room

The room was fine for a one night stay in transit to the UK via ferry. The location is great for the beach and the town (including the Saturday morning market which is spectacular!) and we found street parking fairly close to the hotel in the beach area.
This was a basic room on the 1st floor with a view into the courtyard, so a bit dark and the decor a bit tired. We have previously stayed in the next grade up of room which was much nicer (higher up although still courtyard facing) and more recently refurbished. So the room was fine for an overnight stay but if you are staying for more than one night and can afford it I would recommend upgrading from the basic rooms.

The lady receptionist who was on duty when we arrived was exceptional, so friendly and helpful
Size of room was a bit small, but adequate for one night

very helpful - very friendly - very clean

pet friendly and central location
room was a bit small although adequate

Clean hotel, easy access to the ferry.
Room was a little dated and down some dark corridors. Didn't matter as only there 1 night, but not like the photos shown.

Location was seafront, faultless on that.......parking was not easy but solved eventually
Rooms were small, bed and bedding was OK, shower was good. Breakfast was chaos with a capital K, room was too small, it seemed every single guest came down at the same time and all of them spent several minutes choosing their tables as though they thought they were attending the christening of the Pope's first child......and the menu was very unimaginative, it was the same old, same old....

Excellent location right on the prom. Really good facilities , friendly very helpful staff.

paid for a sea facing room with terrace. that was all good. nice little terrace facing the sea.
somewhat tatty furnishings. all a bit tired. no proper shower - just a shower head with a bath - how does that work?
3.9
The room was compact but had all the usual requirements and was clean. The bathroom was a wet room with a good shower. The reception area was bright and fairly large with seperate seating area for the bar, and a quiet area was off to the side of reception. Two outside areas were available, one was a courtyard with chairs and tables and the other was at the front of the hotel which was just across the road from a grassed area and then the sea.
Breakfast was a continental breakfast you served yourself which was exccellent and all the components were fresh and plenty of it. Coffee was good and plentiful. A slight disappointment was that there was no hot food maybe a boiled egg machine, toaster or even a hotplate with some bacon /sausage could be provided (at even an extra cost) .

situation, friendly helpful staff, fridge and kettle in the room
seating at breakfast was a bit cramped

Location was good BUT Dieppe is a busy place and the Hotel has no parking and so parking anywhere near the Hotel was a bit of a lottery - but this improve into the evening.

Location on seafront was perfect for access to town and beach, although we had a courtyard room, so couldn't see the sea.
Room was clean, comfortable, tidy and modern, with good shower facilities.
Breakfast was standard continental breakfast, but you could have as little or as much as you required.
Staff were very helpful and they all spoke good English, which helped with my less than perfect French!
Parking was an issue - although advertised as ample free parking, we had to battle for a space each day, as it was just on-street, public parking - being Bastille week and holiday season for locals, it was virtually impossible to park near to the hotel.
The rooms weren't air conditioned, and when we asked for a fan, we got a blank look and no fan.
No drink making facilities in the room, so we couldn't make a cup of tea or coffee.
Television remote didn't work , so we replaced the batteries ourselves, but despite 2 BBC channels being advertised, they were unavailable, so we weren't able to use the TV during the week.
Fridge in room worked but didn't keep things very cool.
3.9
Modern feel. Good breakfast and they didn't mind that we were late
No air con but to be fair it was incredibly hot
