Beautiful traditional hotel with exceptionally good service from the friendly crew.
sad didn't have an elevator, and would need to book early to get a ground or first floor room

Double room with extra large BEDđź‘Ť
too clean and quite
more than expectations.

The location was excellent for the Botanic Gardens, Byres Rd and getting into central Glasgow.
The staff were most helpful and friendly.
A smallish hotel, but with pleasant, quiet rooms; the breakfast was well prepared and offered good variety
Having to use a drinks machine at breakfast, when an individual caffetiere would have been far better.
The shower facility was fairly basic, but replaced by a much better model on the day we left.

Location was just what I wanted.
Excellent breakfast
The room was rather small and the bathroom cramped.
The breakfast room was too small for the number of guests

Have stayed before so knew what to expect.
I had booked the Ambassador as I needed a private, secure car park. It was a great disappointment that the car park was continually full during my stay and I was unable to park.

Staff (Neil was great- informative, welcoming and cheery).
It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Location was great and it was so quiet at night. Great to have a car park for such a central location.
The column (I assume part of the load bearing support) was right next to the bed, half way up against the side of the bed. This was not great as I banged my knee on it during the night.
4.1
Room was spotless
Comfortable clean beds
Good breakfast
No heat on in room until we arrived si room was cold and took a while to heat dye to the high ceilings.Think heat should be switched on a while prior to check in.
Car park small if hotel at capacity you would have to pay for on street parking.

The hotel is lovely, in a lovely area. We didnt have breakfast but the breakfast room looked lovely. The staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The shower was roasting hot. Bed was comfy. A 1.30pm check in is great. Very good price considering the price of most Glasgow hotels.
The carpet hadn't been hoovered very well at all. There was stains on the bed throw and some fluff and hair on the white bedsheets. Our room window looked out onto a flat roof which had the last guests pizza left right outside of our window. Didn't look great and attracted seagulls early in the morning.
