Beautiful hotel and grounds, friendly staff all leading to a calm and relaxed stay.

From the first glimpse of the hotel we were awed, stunning building and beautiful grounds. Our welcome was friendly and the room was beautiful, with all the extras you expect at this price point, bonus points for having fresh milk in the fridge! We had an issue with the shower and without hesitation we were given a new room which was also an upgrade. We had a meal in the bar, it was obviously busy at the time but the staff were well organised and there were no delays. Our meal was good value. We loved the atmosphere of the hotel, it was calm and peaceful and all the staff were lovely. We hope to go back one day.

Not sure I can think of anything, we came back home feeling rested and relaxed even after a very busy weekend. All positives!!!

Wow! An amazing hotel with superb staff, great food and comfortable rooms.

The visual impact on arrival was breathtaking, the inside was equally fantastic great staff, fabulous food, comfortable spacious rooms.

There was nothing to dislike about this property when we visited.

A nice stay in a great venue that would have been excellent had the spa facilities been better.

Lovely location. Beautiful grounds. Nice bar and restaurant. Excellent staff.

The pool in the spa was cold and the jacuzzi completely opposite, too hot.

Was fabulous! The venue is stunning and all staff were very polite .we stayed in the old main building I'd recommend this ,the history is fascinating alps. I will be saving to go back ! Thanks so much

Lovely place for a relaxing weekend.

Staff were exceptional. We were met at the door by Reception staff (a very cheerful young lady) who booked us in and arranged treatments in the spa. Sarah on Reception also deserves special mention. Nothing too much trouble.

The excellent spa is let down by being in a separate building, lack of loungers, lack of availability to have food while at the spa (food only available in the main hotel.

A nice hotel with lovely staff but tremendously overpriced.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient particularly at reception.

The hotel is simply much too expensive for what they offer.I've stayed at some of the best hotels in the world for what I paid here.What they charge is out of balance against what they offer on comfort and food.

Very happy, no reason not to return - All in all, it is lovely.

location was lovely, staff were friendly and professional. Food was exceptional even with a Gluten Free diet to manage.

Our small suit was a bit cold and TV system very outdated - This has been the same in all three rooms we have experienced. Sitting room not very cosy but OK.

Over priced and not the luxury we expected

Nice location, if a little run down looking. Beds were comfortable and the food was good. The price was high for the level of service you get from the staff (were they all just tired???)

The staff just didn't really seem to want to be there. They were miserable, unprofessional in the bar and didn't make us want to stay around. We ordered drinks and took them to our room instead.

Great Hotel, with excellent staff. Restaurant choice of food poor for Vegetarians.

Everything in the Hotel was outstanding with the exception of the choice of food in the Restaurant.

We ate in the Hotel Restaurant on the first evening and were very disappointed by the Vegetarian options, We chose, Beetroot Tart Tatin, which to say the least was indifferent.
