Environement
Ménage partie commune inexistant
3.5
L’emplacement
État des lieux très moyen, aucun service. Parties communes à la propreté douteuse
3.5

Mont Saint Michel is magisch.

Location was perfect at the entrance with a view of the ocean. Room was immaculate. Bathroom was clean with new flooring and vanity. Good breakfast included.
Nothing ... look at where you are.

the location is amazing, beatiful view
nothing was said about having to climb long stairs to reach the hotel otherwise we would have packed lighter
the room was next to a freshly painted reception and our room was smelling of paint, the doors were not closing properly, TV not working
room smelling of paint
doors not closing properly, hots at the reception not friendly, they make you feel like they do not care, i guess they dont have to worry if you dont like it as they are always busy with little to non returning guests
breakfast included but it was a joke, one of the worst breakfast i had in an hotel, and i am traveling all over the world for my work

Embêtant quand on veut s y promener comfortablement.

The pillows were good and mattress was ok
Receptionist was very good
It was filthy - and I mean disgusting 🤮
There were bugs infested in the ceiling ,
Mould in the bathroom , wee on the floor - the carpet was disgusting , hadn’t been cleaned in many many years . The curtains were bleached feom the sun , the windows didn’t open properly
The food was excellent- the staff are like nothing we have ever encountered . Rude doesn’t cover it ! The most unhelpful apathetic ignorant staff we have had the displeasure of meeting .
We were ignored as was everyone so it wasn’t personal- everyone in the restaurant was of the same opinion , people were overcharged on bills , no change given just kept - all the reviews are unfortunately true which are a a shame as the food is good
A lot of money needs to be spent on training and refurbishing the place

Location
Trying to find it, no specific details on how to check in

It's in a neat location and you can take the back stairs up to the Abby and avoid some of the crowd heading there on the Grand Rue.
Breakfast was typical of other hotels in France (i.e. it was ok).
Check-in was confusing since the reception was in a different hotel and it was only thanks to the guy making omelets next to the Poulard reception desk that we were informed that we had to go to a different hotel.
I indicated that the room was not quiet, but this is not the fault of the hotel. The seagulls are very loud.
The rooms have not been updated in about a century, but they seemed fairly clean with the exception of mold covering the walls of the bathroom and the bedroom. We were not aware of the mold in the bedroom until the morning when it was too late to request a change of room. We informed the staff at the time of checking out but nothing was done. Management is aware of this as we said the same things in their survey.

The only thing good is the location
The faded pictures on the walls indicate it... the hotel's good times are long behind it. Worn out, dirt on the floor in the corridors. Effortful but completely untalented staff. But the pinnacle is the breakfast. Coffee machine broken... Fruit and scrambled eggs were not replenished despite repeated requests. So was the toast. The sausage was only added after the third request. The rooms like the entire hotel have an absolute renovation backlog. All this for 250€ per night is an absolute outrage. Someone is trying to profit from the reputation of past times and earn a quick euro with largely untrained staff. My request for a discount at check out because of the impossibly poor breakfast was very rudely denied.

We liked the location. The room was okay.
Breakfast could have been better. Hardly anything there.
3.5
The location is the whole experience, everything else about the hotel was a disappointment.
Our room had a serious mold issue, huge growths in both windows, our walls were dusty, one of the pillows had stains, and there was no hand soap in the bathroom.
3.5
Le location is amazing, the view was stunning, the staff were kind, all the pictures of famous people who stayed at the hotel
The mold all over the bathroom wall, the beds were not very comfortable, the breakfast was not up to a 3 star hotel
3.5
The location was great, as it was the first hotel on the island. The breakfast buffet was really good with lots of choice. The bed was very comfortable and the room was lovely.
The bathroom was very old fashioned and had a bath tub with a shower, but the shower did not work. This made it impossible to have a proper shower, which was a bit of a shame. Also, the room was quite dusty, which is quite complicated for two people with dust allergies.
3.5
very friendly and helpful staff, ready to help you with whatever questions you have.
basic but good breakfast
it can be confusing to find your room, but staff is more than willing to help.

Good view.
The mattress was so soft we woke up hurting, no table next to the bed on my side, my stuff ended up on the floor. It has a chair holding an interior door closed and this created an obstacle course at night on the way to the toilet, my leg still hurts from crashing into it. All in all, old fashioned and uncomfortable room. A lot of money for a 40-50 euro room.

good location, very kind staffs

The history.
The location.
Needs a refit.

Stairs! I know there was no alternative, to install a lift, if possible, would ruin the ambience. I shall just have to get used to being old!

great position and dog friendly
nothing

Location is amazing, obviously. Breakfast was superb... Complete, Great quality and lots of options. Room was quiet, bed was very comfortable. A lot better than expected judging by the reviews I read. They gave us a room in the annex.
The stairs were very dirty all day. Check in was a little late at 4PM (the city almost dies at 4.30PM in winter) but we could leave our luggage in the reception and eat/explore.
3.5
The location, the view, also they have a Michelin-rated restaurant.
Even if you don’t stay in the hotel, definitely book a table in the restaurant and enjoy a dinner there.
Breakfast could be better organized, otherwise all good.
3.5
The location was good.
The property needs a serious revamp! everything is old, broken and dirty! They can do so much better.

location
The famous omelette is nothing like it was in previous visits. it is not a soufflé omelette but a flat omelette with runny egg.
The restaurant has built it’s reputation on the omelette. I would not even cross the street for the one I was served.
3.5
A property resting on its name only, nothing else redeeming about the entire experience - hardware and software terrible. staff attitudes lacking. embarrassing.
See above.
3.5
The location is perfect!
Their restaurant is good but costs as much as a night in their hotel.
