Location and facilities. Staff are helpful and friendly.
The location is close to round about and would easily missed the entrance.
4.3
It was a very quite little place to stay, convenient in location.

Extremely clean! Owners were so lovely! Will definitely be back

I was disappointed with the age of the motel. Some of the fittings, especially in the kitchen area, were archaic.
4.3
The room is clean. Location is good, not far from the lake and CBD.

Friendly helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Good batroom. Very well located.
No curtain/blind on kitchen window overlooked by neighbours on the route between bedroom/lounge and bathroom. Reduced privacy.

Derek was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The studio was spacious and well equipped .

Very friendly welcome and great chat with the owner. They immediately offered us vouchers for nearby restaurants which saved us a good amount on our dinner. They tried also to organise 3 rooms in close proximity which was very welcome.
Nice rooms, but a bit outdated. The light in the bathroom starts the fan automatically which was very loud.

We stayed in a "Deluxe King studio" The room was a reasonable size with a good sized kitchen area and bathroom. The motel is a short walk to the lakefront shops and bars with a small supermarket nearby. There was an issue with the fridge and lack of cooking equipment but this was quickly sorted by the management.
The room was dominated by a huge TV, the biggest we have seen in a motel room. Unfortunately the reception was pretty poor so the picture was grainy. Not a great problem for us as we rarely watch TV when travelling but the room would have benefited from a smaller TV to give more of an impression of space.

Close to town with many restaurants within walking distance. Beds were comfortable.
The cupboards looked dated and some the of drawers could not open or close properly.

great facilities, very clean

Lovely quiet room just a short walk to the lake and everything you need.

I picked the property based on walking distance to town and good flat parking for motorcycles. I also thought it was good value for the area. The large screen tv and heat pump were appreciated as were all the sky channels. The room was spacious and I love a couch to relax on. Visits from the little dog just added to our experience. We were also given some vouchers which we used at Speights and Amigos. You can tell the owners take a real pride in their rooms and from now on this might be our go to place for Wanaka.
There was a blip with our room being ready at 2pm, I know these things can happen but at the end of a long ride and being mentally exhausted having to wheel the bikes on gravel from room to room was not what we needed. Of course for anyone arriving by car this would be a non event. Also, for such a lovely room, the plastic jug let it down a little but this is just a pet hate of mine and from the score I gave is again neither here nor there.

I stayed for 5 weeks to snowboard at Cardrona & Treble Cone. The location was perfect with parking out the front of my unit for easy loading and unloading. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette was adequate for my needs, the bathroom was good with excellent water pressure for hot showers after long days on the mountain. I am a light sleeper and the entire complex was very quite so I had great sleep. The location was in walking distance to all shops, restaurants, pubs and and supermarkets. The hosts Derek and Crystal were absolutely fantastic and very helpful. Derek put a towel on my car windscreen each night so it would ice over as I was leaving early each morning. Derek went above and beyond when I lost 6 SD cards containing all of my snowboarding footage. Derek helped me sech through the rubbish bins trying to located my SD cards. I later found I had misplaced them in my room. Sorry Derek but I also appreciate the time you spent helping me.
I look forward to my next stay.
There is nothing I did not like about my stay.

Lovely staff; good clean comfortable facilities
Could do with better water pressure in the shower

Owners were great.

Room was spacious ,clean and warm. Kitchen was well equipped, showers hot and strong water pressure. Staffs were great too! I found that my sheets looked like it had stains on them when I checked in, I informed the staff and it was immediately changed.
Unlike other places, we get to check out a little later and it was really nice to have our car windscreen covered by the staffs with old towels to avoid them frosting up in the morning. Oh, complimentary fresh milk too!
The beds were a bit too soft for me and my dad. We prefer beds that are firmer but it's really a matter of preference. We still slept fine.
The toilet gets a little cold at night even with the heater turned on .

Great location and was able to walk to town. Nice bathroom great shower.
Good size Unit but upgraded room had old and dirty stove and very old and noisy large fridge which made sleeping difficult.
