Location very good, close to all attractions. Bathroom modern, room comfy.
All was well.

-The location is superb. It's quiet at night despite being less than a hundred yards from a busy street.
-The staff was excellent in every way.
-The bed was comfortable for me (on the hard side) and the room was dark without the lights on.
-I appreciated always having hot water when I wanted it.
-The rate was reasonable to me, although I understand that less expensive places are available in Toledo.
-Overall, I would stay there again when I am in Toledo again, although the WiFi was quite frustrating.
-The WiFi service is in the hostel building is bad (there is more than one building). The network wouldn't even appear on my phone or laptop as an option and the staff apparently gave me the WiFi account they use!
-My bathroom had a very strong and strange smell to it--don't know what it was but something like sewer gas.
-The front door to the hostel building is quite loud when it closes. After everyone is in for the night, the building is extremely quiet unless you have noisy neighbors in the next room.

Location, location, location, walking distance to all attractions. Clean room and friendly staff.

The location was convenient. The bed was comfortable - except for the fact that due to the tiny size of the room it had to be against one wall which made it difficult for one of us to get in and out of bed! The aircon worked well but had to be switched on using a pen as there was no remote control.
Extremely small room (2.5 X 2.5 meters) with very poor facilities at a very high price. There was no fridge or kettle. The only electric sockets were in the bathroom. Thin walls meant we could hear everything in the next room. Not what we were expecting for 110 euros a night ☹️

The room was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was lovely even though a bit small, fresh clean towels supplied and shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The heater was excellent and kept us warm during the night. Would love to stay again.

The hostal is located fairly close to the center, just a 10 min stroll uphill to the "casco histórico" and 5 min walk to the Puerta de Bisagra and the Tourist office. Staff was very helpful and followed social distance, sanitizer use and mask-on protocols in line with COVID-19 prevention protocols. Payment was done via touch-card machine and bill sent electronically.
The room for 3 was clean but tight as a third bed seemed to be placed in a double room. Beds were comfortable for a nice repairing night sleep. A/C was a great addition to very hot summer nights. Bathroom: perfect!
Our room was in a different building than where the Sol Hotel is (there is a Sol Hotel and a Sol Hostel), we weren't informed of this. Our building didn't have an elevator, which was an issue as we carried large and heavy luggage we could have left behind or chose a different accommodation if mentioned in description of the place.
Parking: + there is parking at the Sol Hotel!
- getting into it is a gymnast-driver's exercise!
Check-in hours: Booking.com mentions the check-in can be made until 11:00 PM. That was also stated on the correspondence with Hostal Sol. Despite that, we were emailed on the evening of our arrival that we had to check-in by 10:00 PM because the reception was to close at that time and that we had to look for another place if arrived afterwards. This was definitely something that must be addressed and rectified on the website or clarified with staff.

It was a decent place for a one night stay, with a good bed and comfortable pillows. Location is good, just some minutes walking to different attractions.
The room was a bit dusty, it could be cleaner. Same for the bathroom. There was no air-conditioning remote control, you could only turn it on or off. Not possible to change the settings.

The hostel is located at the entrance to the old town. The room was spacious, clean. We additionally had breakfast (buffet 7 euros per person) - super nice staff made us a very tasty breakfast, thank you very much!
No heating, just air conditioning that works on heat. It makes things in your room get wet.
