The perfect stay in evey way

The rooms were very clean and the linen was amazing! Beds extremely comfortable. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Situated in the perfet spot to walk around and see all the attractions. Will definitely book at this hotel again!

A gorgeous boutique hotel in Istanbul.

Hotel Sultania is a lovely boutique hotel located in the centre of the old city very close to the main attractions. The room we had was large and extremely comfortable. The staff were most helpful. Dinner at the rooftop restaurant’Olive’ was very nice.

Lep hotel na idealnoj lokaciji

Lokacija je izvrsna, dorucak je bio bogat, jako lijepo dekorirane sobe, osoblje prijateljsko, dobro opremljen toaletni pribor u sobi,besplatne boce vode. Dobri wafli na dorucku. Blizina metroa, tramvaja i dobrih ulicnih pijaca.

Malo je neugodno vršiti nuzdu u onakvom toaletu koji se zatvara preklapanjem pregradnog stakla u sobi, dakle wc i kupatilo su deo sobe a ne posebna jedinica, imate osjećaj da se sve cuje...pa je jedna osoba morala izaci na terasu u tim trenucima. Nije nam se svidjelo sto se sauna i tursko kupatilo dodatno placaju 10eura,sto je previse trebalo bi biti besplatno Caj kada se izadje iz saune bi isto trebao biti besplatan, kao i u svakom drugom hotelu.

We are looking forward to many more returns to the Sultania!

We were blown away by the staff at the Sultania. They consistently went out of their way to may our stay exceptional. They are amongst the best staff we have experienced in our travels. The rooms were great, the breakfast was lovely, and the staff was very helpful in arranging tours and transportation. They were able to get my mobile phone repaired and to accommodate our last minute need to stay another night. All in all our stay was perfect. The location is ideal.

Amazing staff, location, and room decor.

The location was amazingly close to all the sites and places to be.

The beds were a little hard and the bathroom was a glass enclosure. Not super private.

Great location, very friendly staff. Don't expect modern, it's very Turkish, which we loved. Great breakfast.

I think the rooms need an upgrade, been coming since 2013 and still look the same. However, they are very clean.

Great Location

Breakfast was wonderful, really nice spread. Design of the hotel. The room was big and spacious and had everything we needed. Great spa facilities. Location was amazing 11/10. Staff were very friendly and always willing to help.

The room was a little noisy (could hear the outside traffic and the restaurant across the street at times) - nothing ear plugs can't fix! Avoid the restaurant at the top - it was truly horrible! The view is great but the service was awful, the food was mediocre and the atmosphere was cold and uninviting.

Superb

The location was great! We felt very safe, and it was so convenient to walk to all of the sights. There were lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel staff was extremely helpful. We really enjoyed the hotel's buffet breakfast. We ate there every day and should have paid ahead of time to get the discount.

The Sultan experience in a place where civilization began.

The staff was excellent. Arafa greeted us the first night and he attended to our every need. He and his staff made excellent recommendations on places to eat and things to do and assisted us with a tour guide. The breakfast was superb - local and western style breakfast items. The pomegranate tea was the best! Location was spot on! Easy walking distance to all attractions. Room was large and able to accommodate the whole family. The spa and ham am was excellent and relaxing after along day of sightseeing. Every need was met! I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and would stay here again! Thank you all for a wonderful experience and visit to your beautiful city!

An excellent stay in Istanbul at the Hotel Sultania

The Hotel is in an ideal location for both attractions and restaurants - all of which are easily reached on foot. The hotel itself is about 45 minutes to an hour away from Istanbul Airport (IST) - and this is typical for all central hotels. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they helped us choose a number of places to visit and advised on where to eat out. They helped us to meet the taxis and always ensured that we were certain of where we were going. Our room was lovely and clean, the bed was particularly comfortable. Breakfast is excellent - with a choice of self service, continental buffet and also hot food cooked to order. In the afternoon they provide a free afternoon tea - which is great after you have been exploring the city. The hotel is located on a quiet street - which is off limits to through traffic - so you can step out onto what is mainly a pedestrian road.

There is nothing that we didn't like about this hotel - given the opportunity to stay in Istanbul again we wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Hotel Sultania.

Fantastic location, helpful staff, cozy bed. Would definitely recommend it to everyone!

The location was great - close to all the sights in the Old City. The bed was perfectly cozy. And the balcony was nice!

Had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay and the staff are amazing!

It was very authentic and in a nice part of the old town.

The bathroom has an unusual door/shower screen design, not very good at keeping the bathroom floor dry. Overall the bathroom could do with being updated.

It was a good stay! Very polite and friendly staff, the front desk guys were great. The hotel was very clean, from restrooms to the hotel rooms. The linens were very confortable as well, the mattress was a bit to old but we had a good sleep. I supose that is a very very good option in that region/area.

we’ve booked a hamam room but it actualy was a “hamam concept” room. so please be aware of the difference. it does not have a real hamam bath but a marble sink and shower.
