Heerlijk ontbijt
4 verdiepen zonder lift. Heel wat gesleur met de bagage.

Aussicht vom Balkon.

Frühstück war gut, alles was man braucht.
Unser Zimmer war sehr in die Jahre gekommen.Waschbeckenabfluss verrostet.Bettlaken mehrere Löcher.
Minibar fehlte, obwohl es in der Beschreibung vorhanden sein sollte.Badezimmer sehr klein.

Stunning area, handy for central Cochem but nice and quiet. Good range of food for breakfast and free parking options (if you're lucky and can find a space - otherwise its 8 euros a day!). Charming old building with good views from the top floor. Decent wifi.
Our room was on the top floor up 4 flights of stairs (no lift). 50% of our room was a sloping ceiling that made the area your head went on the bed incredibly claustophobic. We had to pull the bed into the room and sleep the opposite way up. As two tall people, moving around meant lots of ducking and crouching. No air con and the fan was very noisy. Didn't want to open the windows due to bugs - lots of marks of squished mosquitos on the wall above the bed. Bathroom had an odd musty smell. Furniture and decor was dated and worn in places. Double bed was two singles with a sheet over, so there was a crack in the middle. Check out was early at 10:30 and we already had a cleaner banging on our door at 10 making us feel rushed to leave.

Close to many attractions, just a few mins walk from shuttle busses. Staff were awesome and breakfast was great.
Parking was limited, but reserved a spot in the hotel park house 1 block away - was worth it!

The owner/staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough. Great breakfast and place felt like a home away from home.
No complaints

Great location

We arrived later, but that was no problem. Also we could leave our luggage at the reception when we already checked out and pick it up later in the day.

Great value property one road back from the Moselle. Nice room, would stay again

The location just back from the river was great, with just a short walk over the bridge to the centre. There is a garage nearby to park securely, good for motorcycles, four to a parking space. The breakfast was really good, and the trusting system of 'help yourself to snacks/drinks' out of hours was a great idea. The manager was really friendly and made us very welcome.

Nice location and building
Absence of lift

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival. The room was very nice,of a good size with great view. It was clean and provided the necessary facilities. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of options, all fresh and tasty. The hotel has parking options at a reasonable rate, or payment for parking on nearby roads was also reasonable, paying upto 6pm only. A short walk over the bridge to the main town area with its shops and restaurants.
Nothing negative about the hotel. Maybe visit the area after April when more restaurants appear to open for the season.

Absolutely gorgeous family run hotel. Lovely views from the room back over the river to the castle. Lovely family feeling to the hotel, which is nice when traveling with a family. Shirt walk over the bridge, easy to access sights from hotel. Would definitely go back and highly recommend staying. Breakfast was amazing. Best breakfast of our trip.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic-so many choices and very fresh fruits veggies and meats. The owners were friendly, extremely accommodating, and gracious.
The only thing that could've been better is firmer pillows in the room

It's a pleasant hotel, within easy walking distance of the main facilities in Cochem. We had an 'attic' room, which was small but adequate, and just about had a view of the castle The hotel has a bar on the ground floor with basic food and a good selection of local wine. We chose (like most) to walk across the Moselle bridge and ate out in the town where there was quite a selection of restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was initially a bit of a problem; there is metered parking around 200m away alongside the river, so it was a bit of a walk up the hill with our cases, but the receptionist kindly lent us a parking permit, so we didn't have to pay to park by the river. Breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs and bacon available, along with the usual continental choices.
We noticed that some guests left their luggage in the reception corridor while they found a parking spot, and this seems a good idea. If there had been a full restaurant service in the evening we would have used it, as we had been on the road for around 7 hours.

The hotel had the most amazing view of the river and castle. The staff were friendly and helpful. We cycled, good space to leave bikes. The breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Would definitely return.
Having to leave!

breakfast, hospitality, location
if you have a big suitcase and you get a room on 4th floor that might be a bit of a problem :-)

Central location and having car parking. Breakfast was excellent.
Wish we had more space in the room.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very kind. The terrace at the front was cosy.
The apartment was very dark (little natural light and unable to air the bathroom properly resulting in a stale smell. The internet connection was very poor. I would stay in the main hotel if I returned as I was disappointed with the apartment.
4.1
location was superb, just across the bridge from the town and parking available around the content from the hotel for free
