We cannot say enough great things about everyone at Las Casitas
Without exception everyone was so kind & made us feel so welcome
We will definitely return to Las Casitas if ever given the opportunity to visit Colca Canyon again

The hotel and surroundings are pretty.
The food is ABYSMAL.
One of the staff just straight up lied to us about not being able to turn on the heaters outdoors. Finally they were turned on upon speaking to a manager.
The beds were TINY.
When I told them at the reception that my stay was awful, they did not even ask why.

The hotel and it's surroundings were just amazing. It's a quiet and secluded location, so you can really relax without any sort of disturbance. Breakfast was regular but fine enough (they are still recovering from the pandemic restrictions, so a few things are still not back to what we believe would be normal). A special shout out to Domingo, from the restaurant. He went out of his way to offer us a few items that weren't on the very limited menu. The trout that was on the menu, though, was very good.
The location is rough and bumpy to reach. It may just be intended to be so but nevertheless it was very shaky. And (blame it on the pandemic again) they were short staffed, as we requested help with the luggage and didn't get it, so we had to help ourselves to bring it all the way from the bungalows up to the taxi area which is several levels uphill from our bungalow (they have a buggy to do this, but no one was available to come to our aid). We visited the Spa also, but we found no one there, not even a receptionist. We toured the facility and found only another couple of guests doing the same we were doing (an unattended tour). We noticed a few treatment rooms with doors closed, so probably someone was getting treatment, but we couldn't even make a booking. I usually don't like to complain but in this case, where we paid an exceptional amount of money, we felt less than happy with the overall level of service.

Great breakfast and dinner. Very nice design of rooms and great gardens. Very friendly and professional staff. Lovely activities with Lama feeding and horse riding.
No hot water in the first room we had. In the second room we only had hot water for shower, not the sink.
Very cold bathrooms, heating was not working in two different Casitas, so they added additional electric heating systems.
Outside pool was too cold to use it.
Not really cosy atmosphere in all areas of the hotel (i.e. quite cold).
Bad value for money when compared with other luxury resorts in Peru.

Worst hotel in the world !!!!
Las Casistas did a mistake in our payment.
We paid two times our trip 5.000 usd instead of 2500 usd. They refuse to help us and to reimburse.
The WORST hotel in the world where you pay dobble the Price. And NO help to their customer.
A shame

Everything was perfect for the last stop on our Peruvian honeymoon. The staff are incredible, location stunning and the Casitas had everything we could possible need. Couldn't recommend this more highly.
