Spacious property with a great private swimming pool

The private swimming pool was such a bonus and the children loved it. The free wifi throughout the property worked well. It was an extremely spacious property with lots of utensils in the kitchen. A.C worked well but we had to ask someone to come and look at a couple of them as they played up. This was sorted. Property was slightly away from the main centre, but this is what we wanted and we could get there in a taxi easily using uber. Supermarket and beach all within walking distance.

The locks to both bathrooms do not work, which was a big letdown. Immediately we asked for this to be sorted and someone did come round but not sure if he understood as only the person who came round was the A.C guy. We had to somehow manage but this needs to be fixed.

My family had fun. We enjoyed staying there.

The owner is a very lovely man. He is ready to listen and support. the pool was cleaned in the mornings. the villa was well equipped.

More about what i raised and advised. That side of Portugal is tropical and of course will have some insects found in the tropics. I encouraged fumigation before guests arrive which the host took positively. This can happen in any household in the tropics but once you fumigate it solves the issue. Other than that it was a lovely stay. We kept to the rules and no one had any issues. Host highly supportive.

Cannot recommend. Just needs a total refurb.

Not much.

It was very tired, grubby, dark, everything seemed a little dirty. The pool was unusable due to it being dirty and too cold. Oven was dirty and basically like you’d have in a bedsit.

Poor facilities,cleaners only once in 14 days, poor equipment in kitchen,e.g. no wine glasses, low quality bedding, no Sun lounger cushions,umbrella,no dishwasher no beach towels,cloths jpegs etc. No privacy.holday
