I liked everything! The location, the room, the receptionist, the breakfast. Everything perfect 🥰
I will be back one day!
My baby dog got a gift! ❤️
Like in most places I needed to pay 10 euros for the dog 🐶
Everything was perfect 🥳

Nice Host, extemely helpful. Staff also
The front door steps are very broken and uneven. One of us fell and hurt our leg. There is no proper banister. At Night the public area's are not well lit, including the stairs to the first floor. In our room the stairs to the sleeping platform were not very suitable for children or older people. There was no banister/handrail.

I like the bed comfort and bathroom design
One would expect to talk with people who are oriented to listen first and make an emphaty to risolve the problem not fighting hard to be the right one or win an argument

Lots of steps

Deceptive location but perfect for exploring this historic town. The castle overlooks the hotel. Our host was extremely friendly with perfect English and she advised us on places to eat etc. We were just passing through and knew nothing about Xativa beforehand. It really is worth a visit. The vibe in the Plaza on a Friday evening with so many young people and families was fantastic. We hope to visit again with more time.
We were fortunate to find a parking place outside the Maga Rooms but the alternative is a steep walk up the hill.

The coffee machine next to our room in reception going off at 7 in the morning plus people banging on our door.
No windows in our cell .therefore we had to leave the door open all night to get air in ! And a shower base leaking that flooded the bathroom floor .

the place is beautifully renovated and set up, a pleasant 5-to-10 minute walk from plaça del mercat and plaça de la Seu, about 15 minute downwalk to the station and just exactly at the foot of the way to the castle!
only concern about this particular room is the stairs to the mezzanine bed and shower could be tricky for/with small children. everything else was just great!

Zativa itself (the town) was nice.
The room was clean
We've travelled around Spain to over 60 locations - This stay was our worst. We rarely leaving negative comments, but the Maga Rooms was poor.
When we arrived at the apartments another couple couldn't could get in the main doors and were arguing with the owner over the phone. They said the coded door continuously wouldn't open throughout their stay and they were waiting for a steward to fix it, yet again. We were stuck outside for 40 minutes and when the steward arrived it took her 15 to get inside.
Our room had been misrepresented. There wasn't any outside windows. There was one main glass panel looking out directly onto the foyer at the reception and table for people to sit. The glass was hidden by a large blind at the side of our bed so if we opened the blind everyone would've been looking directly at us through the glass. This meant that it wasn't possible to sit in the room with the blind open making the room like a cave. There was only a bed so nowhere else to sit.
On the bed we noticed a wet patch, caused by a leak in the ceiling. The drip was only small but significant as the bed was getting wetter. We called the owner who immediately became abusive in tone, bellowing down the phone, not letting me speak. I told her the dripping needed fixing to which she yelled, 'Leave if you don't like it!' before slamming the phone down.
We were vulnerable and had no where else to go. We'd travelled all day and it was late and so we thought we'd ride it out for one night. We moved the bed from underneath the drip and rolled back the wet blanket. We've never encounter such and angry and discourteous person as the owner.
Also
The room wasn't peaceful - every time someone came into the foyer it was very noisy and this happened a lot through the night.
There were only two powerpoints in the room.
Parking wasn't guaranteed. We were lucky to get the one spot available.

the location is perfect, the rooms are minimalist but with a very high quality finish to everything
at the start it’s very automated and we didn’t get the chance to ask about how everything worked . so you kind of have to find out for yourself and be proactive

This place feels more like a Mediterranean home than a typical hotel. Rooms are situated in the old stone house. And the breakfast was served around the corner, in a big open kitchen, with homemade jams, and the lady pressed orange juice, cooked coffee and cooked omelette just in front of us. It was like visiting a friend in a Mediterranean :) Very unique and friendly experience.

Poor service. We asked for a room to be preheated on our arrival, but arrived into cold suite and the owner started some excuses that it is just 5PM. We travel with our 5 y.o son and when the room is around 14-15 degrees it is just unimaginable.
They do not have a dedicated parking, all places are used by locals.
We just left without staying, our health is more important. Let them have some euros (booking was not refundable).

Clean, modern, friendly, helpful, comfortable beds.

Very modern room, with bathroom downstairs and shower in the bedroom upstairs. Our room was very spacious and bed (and pillow!!) super comfy.
The stairs from the bedroom to the bathroom/living room were a bit precarious, not for everyone.
