I really enjoyed Tanoa Plaza Hotel for it’s friendly staff, clean rooms and location. I ended up booking another room at

Cleanliness for the entire of the hotel, room very pleasant with city view/smelled fresh included mini refrigerator, safe, ironing board and iron with closet to hang my clothes. It also had an elevator for easy access for entry/exit, pleasant staff and great location

Shower do not have a door; water splashing all over making door mat and outside area wet. Also restaurant inside did not have good selection of menu

Excellent hotel with exceptionally friendly and professional staff.

The hotel location is excellent - just a few hundred meters away from landmark sites, such as Albert Park, the Thurston botanical garden and the Fiji Museum. The comfort of my room was great and the view was exceptional, amazing, superb. But above all, the greatest asset of the Tanoa Plaza Hotel is its staff. I began my stay in Suva with two days of leisure activities, staying on for another five days to run a workshop with participants from 6 countries from the region. The hotel general manager Mere went above and beyond to provide great customer service and ensure that everything runs smoothly for us. Special thanks also to Anisha (Reception) for her great professionalism, efficiency and helpfulness. Book at the Tanoa Plaza, Suva to feel welcome, cared for and to enjoy Suva to the fullest.

A pleasant overnight stay in the capital city

Very nice and helpful staff, comfortable room with a nice view of the city. Generally very clean, breakfast was also tasty and varied.

Do not stay here. Atrocious facilities, rude staff, disgusting food.

After staying at 6 hotels in Fiji there is nothing good to report about the Tanoa.

Staff were rude at every encounter. Requests for breakfast buffet to be replenished were ignored, staff at check in, check out and enquires at reception were short, condescending, patronising and unacommadating. An awful hotel and experience.

Disappointing

The staff were nice and friendly and it was a convenient location with secure parking. The beds were also comfortable.

We found multiple cockroaches in our room. Our towels and bath mats were not changed every day and the it wasn’t as clean as a hotel should be. Average service. Also an average breakfast selection for the price paid.

Staff are great, helped with all inquiries professionally and quickly.

For breakfast included in the room rate it is very nice EXCEPT for the fake orange created from sunquick. That I believe is a major oversight as I do not drink juices with sugar added and this was sugar added.

The A/C unit in my room is very ineffective even considering that the day in question wasn’t not overly hot.
