Esperamos volver!
La única critica constructiva es que nos hubiese gustado que la carta del restaurante estuviese completa. Faltaban varios elementos.

The location in the middle of nowhere surrounded by geological formations and vineyards is second to none.
WiFi unstable at times

Quiet, very rural. The staff was pleasant although needing training. The wine was very good and not very expensive.
1. Access: From the Highway: 3 km of unpaved very muddy road with serious difficulties when raining. Not well indicated, in fact signs seem to indicate a right hand turn at the crossroad when one must go straight. Easy to get lost during the day DO NOT ATTEMPT AT NIGHT. See photo
2. Room cleanliness left something to be desired: dead flies on the floor three days in a row. They changed the towels and made the bed but the bathroom was never really cleaned. In five days they never changed the sheets. The towels were old, stiff and with holes: see photo
3. Breakfast was poor at best: continental only: Nothing hot (no eggs, sausages or pancakes). The only fruit looked old and tired.
4. Room was OK but not well kept: almost impossible to open sliding door to balcony
5. There is no phone connection anywhere except, sporadically, next to reception

I stayed at La casa de la Bodega from the 5th of January until today:
The hotel -> its a beautiful house, in the middle of nature, around 15km away from Cafayate, which is what I wanted. It has a beautiful garden, with swimming pool and an amazing view of the mountains, which is idyllic. There are however a few details here and there that could be better; the owner should strongly consider investing in infrastructure - as it started to rain slightly strong, there was a bit of water leaking into the hall. Also, I believe the owner could provide the staff with better products for breakfast and food in general. The staff really does a great job working with what they have. If they were provided with better supplies, like homemade marmelades, locally produced cheeses, locally harvested ingredients, they could produce something simple and amazing. But in general, I had a fantastic time here and absolutely liked the premises.
The staff -> fantastic. 10/10. They are super friendly, really kind, always ready to help and ready to make you feel comfortable, at all times. It is very refreshing to see such good people in the hotel industry like the staff of this hotel. When there was something they didn’t know, they were humble enough to tell you. I absolutely loved them ❤️ I would like to honestly congratulate them for the dedication and passion they showed!
This place has a lot of potential: top quality staff and a fantastic almost fairytale-like hotel and surroundings. I believe with these minor changes, you will have a world-class hotel!
Thank you wholeheartedly for everything and I would 100% love to comeback ❤️❤️❤️
Points to work on:
- A bit of investment from the owner (infrastructure)
- I would personally change the breakfast and overall menu:
* Breakfast - more homemade marmelades, local cheeses. I do like the homemade bread the offer, its super tasty. I do like the fruits and juices.
* Menu - I would keep it a bit more simple. I would offer less things, but all made with locally grown ingredients (when possible). Short menu, few options but well done with local fresh ingredients.
- Internet connection: I am not sure if it is a problem with the provider or it is because the hotel is located in the middle of nature, but the internet connection wasn’t the best and is unfortunately not very reliable

Location is amazing, within the Quebrada de las conchas, 15/20 mins away from Cafayate center. outstanding location.
You sleep literally in the middle of a winery. Amazing pool, beautiful garden. Great breakfast. Wine tour and tasting included in the price. very recommended! Sol, the Enologa was super friendly and explained a lot of things!
staff is very attentive and nice.
we stayed 2 nights in a room with the vineyards view and a balcony, where we had our breakfast. Amazing!
we had dinner 2 nights in the restaurant of the hotel and it was tasty, with good prices.
there were a lot of flies in the place we ate that made a bit uncomfortable the meals as we were all the time sending them away. Maybe it would be good to do something about it.
I had a problem with Booking.com at the moment of paying as the price I agreed was without VAT so on top of that I needed to add this tax that was something I didn’t count on. that was never clear to me.

The staff is very helpful.
The hotel is very quiet, surrounded by wine yards.
The equipments are old. I guess the hotel was great 10/15 years ago but needs renovation!
The breakfast was very basic and disappointing
It is not worth the price we paid

Breakfast was ok. The location was quite far from Cafayate, with nothing around. But it was very nice. Booking should have warned in the description that it is 17 km away from the town in the middle of nowhere. However I liked the location
That it was totally unmanaged with no person to take responsibility for what was wrong. All the responsibility was on the cleaning maids and they were not up to it

Beautiful bodega and hotel-especially the outside area is beautiful. The bathroom has a massage bath tub and a wine tasting is included.
It is about 20mins out of town and only accessible via a long dirt road.

The property itself is very nice.
The dinner we had at the restaurant was terrible. The hotel staff was not very welcoming, lazy and useless.
also a missed opportunity for a wine estate to not serve its wine in the lounge or by the pool…

it’s nice and quiet, it’s clean.
when we arrived it was late so we just went to dinner and after that when we wanted to shower there was no warm water, the next day i told them about 10 am and until 13 o’clock we didn’t have warm water at all i had ask to change room, the toilets weren’t working completely good.
we ate the first night in castillos de cafayate that is the same owner and is really close to there and we got food poison, maybe it was just bad luck but our trip was completely ruined becuase all this, we felt very bad, stomach pain and a lot of other issues. when i did the check out they told me i hadn’t payed for that food and they wanted to charge me again, even though i payed the same day, it would be nice of them not charging that food that was contaminated
