Overall great and really good value for money

Comfy beds, hot showers and good shower pressure, central location, really nice that they do daily movie screenings outside, clean kitchen and rooms :)

The pool was filthy and I wouldn’t want to go in it because of that; definitely needs a good clean.

Great stay in Alice Springs

The staff Is very nice, the location great and the room very comfortable. I liked the common areas including the outdoor cinema. Awesome kitchen and laundry facilities too. I will definitely go back!

The room was great but maybe walls are not the thickest ones and I had very noisy neighbours, despite YHA's invite to silence and respect after 10 am. This is, however, not the structure's fault.

Perfect location for backpackers/tourists(short stay)

Access to the tour/shuttle bus (just next to the hostel), Walking distance to town centre/shopping malls and Anzac Hill and also along Todd river Spacious kitchen/lounge room as well as bathrooms, flexible check-in/out, WiFi internet, door lock with access card

The pressure of the shower depending on the shower room, the number of power sockets in the room, wet shared fridge, uncomfortable mattress

Nice staff

I couldn't close the curtain next to my bed and there was a light outdoors, so it was quite bright while sleeping.

The bed in the double room is AMAZING Perfect location Nice outside space Clean room

Too loud with the music outside no noise cancellation and people outside being loud There is a tube in the room with carries all the noise and conversation from other room Shower not really hot

Almost perfect, would book again for sure

Clean, quiet, big comfy bed, big room, no insects, radiator and fan provided, civilized guests, washing machines and dryers work well

No private fridge, room gets cold at night but provided radiator helps a bit

We were able to pay & park our car securely inside the grounds at a small price while we were away walking for several days. Staff couldn't have been more helpful

Pleasant and restful stay

The 16-bed dorm was comfortable enough. Bed sheets with elastic makes bed preparation so easy. Everyone has a big locker, and it’s not a huge room but a long room with corners. It was always quiet, and I managed to sleep well. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a place to store your luggage. The kitchen is enormous, and the WiFi works excellently which is not common in Australia.

The kitchen could be cleaner. Honestly, the kitchen was cleaned at least 3x a day, but I guess the guests didn't clean so well after themselves. The pool could be better maintained and cleaned. The kitchen cleaning missed the tables outside

Great!

Staff were incredible!! So helpful in organising taxi shuttle and introducing us to other travellers!

Pool was sadly broken however staff offered alternatives nearby

Lovely staff, comfy room but no pool

If I was reviewing this on the staff alone it would be top marks because they were so friendly and welcoming, really lovely people who work very hard. We had a double room which was comfortable and clean, the air con was automatic but helped kept the room cool as did the fan. They put on BBQs and movie nights on the projector which was great. Bathrooms were always clean. Despite the high crime rate we did feel safe in the hostel, they seemed to have a good security system.

The pool wasn’t usable throughout our whole stay and this wasn’t acknowledged at any point of our stay. You couldn’t see the bottom from where it hadn’t been cleaned for a while and this really did affect our stay. Alice springs is unfortunately now a place that isn’t all that safe and there was nothing to do outside the hostel unless you were spending $$$ to go on an excursion out of town. So we were expecting to have a relaxing pool day but couldn’t even do that which was such a shame. Other guests left their mess everywhere after cooking in the kitchen also.
