Best Western Hovell Tree Inn highly recommended.

The hotel was in a great location,, within walking distance to the main centre, shops and clubs. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would recommend this hotel to others and would definitely stay there again when in Albury.

Our guests were not let in. We were unable to have guests in the room. No balcony in spa suite.

A great way to break a long journey

The staff were extra nice and moved me to a new room when there was a noise situation next to my original room. The breakfast (room service) was delicious and huge!!

Comfortable room providing the basics

This is an older style motel with actual painted rendered walls, not brick, which is common in so many motels. The room was clean and the bathroom had been renovated. It provided all the basics that you need for an overnight stay. There was a small kitchenette and a coffee machine.

The fan in the bathroom did not work and the air conditioner had to be placed on a very high temperature to warm the room as it can reach minus degrees overnight in Albury during winter. We think the filters need to be cleaned or replaced in these items.

A perfect stay from start to finish.

My self contained apartment was warm, clean and well kitted out. Loved that it was just across the road from a beautiful Aquatic Centre and Park. Restaurant was great. Food and service were first rate. Undercover car parking close to my accommodation was a bonus.

There was nothing to dislike. It was an easy, perfect stay.

I feel that the rooms could have a bit of an update regarding the decor and maybe a microwave and a coffee machine would help.

It was wonderful

We went to the restaurant and the food was great. They must have had a flood and as you step out of the lifts you can smell it. They were drying with fans but I just find it hard to breathe.

Pleasant stay.

Good sized bedrooms and living area. Allocated a quiet room as requested. Was able to walk to shops and cafes. Would stay there again.

Bathroom without ventilation causing floors to remain covered with condensation overnight and still wet the next morning, bathroom floors were freezing. Basic and worn flatware and kitchen utensils.

Having paid in advance for breakfast to be included with accommodation, we were told to choose between juice or hot drink, an additional charge to be incurred is wishing a juice and a cup of tea.

My daughter was extremely ill on the morning of our trip. Having stayed at the property numerous times before, I rang and explained the situation and asked to change the date of the stay. I was refused this and still made to pay the full cost of the room. Do not recommend this motel as they will not help their customers out.
