Six times in this hotel in the last 2 years before this time. Unfortunately I made mistake in booking dates. Do not expect comprehension or any support, you are a number and you paid, that's it.

I’ve never had better value for money. Great staff, great room and the most amazing beautiful surroundings.
This has nothing to do with the hotel, but just so others know. The food in the city is quite overrated and overpriced considering the quality. It’s good food, nothing wrong, but also nothing special.

Really nice hotel with spa. Excellent location right next to the slopes

Atmospfere, nice staff, great breakfast, can not beat the great view on the Materhorn…
Outdated rooms needs renovation…..

Breakfast room was good. Staff welcoming on arrival and each day. They replaced the safe in the room (which was broken on arrival). A special mention to the bar staff who were absolutely excellent and efficient.
bed linen was tired and ripped. A minor point but staff offered to buy ski pass for us, but insisted we pay a deposit for those in cash and would not add the sum to the room account.

location
smell, tired, spa hours restricted, room didn’t get cleaned every day. staff a bit grumpy.

Ver nice hotel with great facilities and a very good breakfast. Super convenient for the slopes with its own ski rental shop in the basement ski room. Nice pool and spa area for apres ski relaxation. We had our room upgraded to a family room and they have a great late check out policy - 10 euro per hour after normal checkout time - great if you want to keep room on last day to get some extra skiing in.
Only gripe was a feint sewage smell in the reception we had for a couple of days - they seemed to have fixed it by the time we left.

The food at Hotel Europe is generally not good enough for a 4-star Hotel. Scrambled eggs made from some kind of powder product not eatable. Crappy, dry bread for breakfast. We ate in the restaurant on the first night. Ok starters, but absolutely crappy beef and pasta. AND in generally waiters should learn not to cough in their hands and then continue to handle cutlery and food. Happened every day, come on!

very well located at the top of main street two minutes walk to chair lifts, breakfast was very well laid out no shortage of food. the wellness centre was lovely and the staff at reception were very polite
the room advertised in pictures wasn’t the room we got, it was a much older room. I requested two separate beds for adults, first bed was perfect second was a camp bed with a wafer tin mattress very uncomfortable.
unfortunately they only give you one pass for locker room and if your not back at the same time as the person you share your room with it’s a pain in the ass.

well situated with nice view if room on slopes side
well organized
good breakfast
The spa (and all facilities) was on the aisle of the hotel requiring to pass thru lobby to reach it.

It was a very pleasant stay
The hot water in the shower in one of the rooms didn't work well, and this is not fun to shower in cold water after a day of skiing .
The stuff couldn't help even after we told then about the problem

The only 2 good things regarding the hotel are:
1. Location - close to ski lifts.
2. Breakfast - was pretty good.
1. The shower stream was very weak, it was so weak we couldn't wash our hair, we talked to the reception about it and they just replied with " we will try to check it" but never got back to us about it. Our solution was to shower in the spa area showers wearing swimwear...
2. The equipment locker is very small, we are 2 snowboarders and there is no way to fit the equipment in the locker. We tried to ask for a bigger locker or additional one, but the reception representative simply said there is no such option, although there are lockers not assigned to any room. We ended up taking most of the equipment to the room each day.
3. This is marketed as a 4 stars hotel, and priced as such. This is not a 4 stars level hotel !

Very good location for skiing, close to Cretaz departure. Located in the central area, very close to the restaurants and shops. Nice and kind staff. Free parking at the hotel. Good facilities with generous relaxation area in Lobby, Ski Rental Centre, Ski Room and SPA Centre. Heating in rooms with radiators, but good. Good WI-FI.
Rooms quite small and unmaintained, old and poor furniture, dirty walls, worn bedding, also towels, very poor quality mattress (with springs you can feel). Poor soundproofing, you can also hear the neighbors. The bathroom is quite worn. Average cleanliness. The door card didn't work, I was given a key. No coffee is provided in the room, only tea! Poor breakfast. The SPA area is only open between 4 and 8 p.m., the pool is small and totally inadequate for the size of the hotel and the time it is open, it`s always full. Lifts and hallways are very small. I rented skis for 6 days, used them for 5 days and they charged me for 7 days. In the ski room it smells terribly of sewage. A bit poor everything. For a 4* hotel, the price-quality ratio is very poor. There's no way you're going back to this hotel, sorry.

Decent location, good breakfast selection and great spa area.
The dark green colour in the rooms is an odd choice!

Good location
Economy room not four star accommodation, closer to two star. Very shabby and not very clean.
