We had a very large room with a king sized bed. Tea and coffee was available in the room. A nice large fan was also supplied. We were very surprised by the really good grounds and lots of outside seating areas.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Beautiful place. Rooms really clean and spacious.
Small issue for me was no mirror at the dressing table to get ready.
4.1
Recently refurbished, spacious, well appointed venue.
The accommodation is in separate buildings to the public areas. Tiresome if the weather is bad.

We were invited to a wedding which was over an hour away, so we decided to book a room at the venue. Excellent room, clean and a comfy bed.

Although close to the busy A164, my room was at the rear of the property overlooking a field. The room itself was large with a desk and two comfortable chairs and amongst the best equiped I have ever had in this price range. The meals were in the main building and were very good with excellent service from the freindly staff.
The hand basin in the bathroom was quite small. On my third evening, there was the sound of loud music and DJ coming from the function room below my bedroom - luckily this stopped at 10pm, just as I was about to go to bed.

Room is nice.
There was a loud party that extended beyond 10pm and I could not sleep.

Hotel was lovely nice surroundings & quiet

Lovely room, friendly staff and the food was very good. Cooked fresh to order and plentiful. Nice to get something different to the usual hotel restaurant fayre too.
Paying more in the bar for a bottle of zero alcohol lager than I do in central London!
Bed a little bit hard for my liking (perhaps partly because the mattress was actually bigger than the bed frame?).

Room 15 was HUGE and absolutely stunning, the reception area is beautifully designed with tree's going up the stairs.
we had 2 egg salad sandwiches that totalled £17.50 the 2 puddings we had was only £6.50 each.
The food menu could do with being a bit more variety and cater for all people and not just rich posh people so to speak.
Room + breakfast was almost £90, total we paid inc taxi there and back from our destination sub totalled £150. to some people that may not sound like much, but when you get limited money as it is and with the cost of living crisis, Understandably you all have to make a living and pay your bills etc, but you also need to think and consider people on benefits who get pittance who just need to get away from everything and relax at a reasonable price for a room and food menu choices.
My wife and I were getting very weird looks from guests almost like they have never seen a lesbian couple before, we felt very uncomfortable, one couple walked passed us and laughed saying "you seen them too" another man blue joggers came out for smoke and looked at my wife and I and had a right snotty attitude and moved and faced his back to us.

Easy to find and in a great location for a job in Hull. Easy check-in, staff were great, explained what was needed, very professional. The room was fine (right at the far end), decent bed, a decent shower, and everything I needed. Was pretty quiet, so ideal. Would use it again.
Telly had a mind of its own! Changed channels, kept turning itself on at night, with no idea why, and pulled the plug in the end. Very odd that there was no wardrobe - there were a couple of hangars - considering the amount of furniture in the room. No real drama for just one night, but if I was there for longer, I'd have liked a wardrobe. Minor points though, still a good place to stay!

The function room was nice.
Food was good.
Horrendous customer service!
Only one member of staff was helpful at all.
No smiles at all from anyone, the receptionist at check in didn’t even make eye contact.
The breakfast waitress was the grumpiest, rudest most unhelpful person and
unfortunately for us, said waitress worked both days of our stay!!
Room was very tired.
The beds were very uncomfortable (our stay was for a celebration and all of our fellow guests complained about the awful beds)

Excellent value for money, modern spacious room, perfect for on site wedding.
Shower wouldn't get anywhere near hot, luke warm at best.
Mattress was too soft for my personal preference.

The hotel was easy to find and in a good location for us. Room was lovely with everything needed. It looked fairly recently renovated and everything was perfect. Clean, and very comfortable room, polite and welcoming staff. Breakfast was good. Would recommend and would definitely stay there again.
The room was very cold on arrival. Though I appreciate that energy prices are very high at the moment it would have been nice for staff to switch the heating on before arrival of guests. Room heated up quickly though.

Very nice quality hotel and room, I specifically loved the shower.
Great idea the local guide book in the room, from which we found our next destination. The whole experience was great.
They even found my mobile charger I left in the room and replied to my email right away.
No issues at all.
