Super locatie en verblijf!

Uitermate vriendelijk personeel met Serkan aan het ontbijt die er alles aan deed om ons een mooi verblijf te bezorgen;

Geluidsisolatie, maar is eigen aan een stad zoals Istanboel die zeer luid en levendig is.

view from restaurant windows.

Old windows so wind was whistled all night long. air conditioner was not helping to make a room warm as wind was all over the room. old fashioned pillow not so comfortable.

GREAT HOTEL NEAR TO ISTIKLAL STREET

EVERYTHING !! Best Hotel, Best Service, Great Location, Super Clean. Staff from Reception, Concierge, Room Service all are very very professional and great to deal with. MUST BOOK!!

only location is 5 star, the normal rate would be 4 star

Good location, good breakfast (more fruits would be great)- but poor quality coffee or hot chocolate

Water and coffee capsules in the room have high prices The rooms need update in terms of furniture The room was very noisy ( with Golden Horn view, but above a main street -windows need urgent upgrade in the first place)

The rooms need renovation, especially the furniture and inventory in the rooms are outdated. For a 5 star hotel there was not enough options for breakfast.

Good location in Taksim, near by lot of shops & caffes, the stuff was very friendly, i liked the service. Rooms are clean and food is nice.

Hotel is to old needs a good renovation. Furniture extremely old & everything inside.

Perfect getaway in Pera

Everything. It’s in close walking distance to Istiklal Street and the Galata Tower. The rooms were clean and beds super comfortable. Staff were very friendly and obliging. Golden Horn views at breakfast are a bonus.

No English breakfast tea at breakfast, but that’s common for Türkiye.

Beautiful and unique hotel in a prime location

The spa experience was lovely, we did a couples massage and the staff and masseuses were friendly and did a great job. The hotel itself was in a perfect location, included breakfast was great and worth it and the staff (manager and others) were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, including when we needed to change rooms twice.

The bed frames and mattresses in the rooms have clearly been in use for a long time and we ended up having to switch rooms due to the bed frame breaking on one side. The new room was better but the frame was still sagging on both sides and was not particularly comfortable for either of us.

I picked up that hotel as I wanted to stay at some homely place at the new year but it turned out to be worst stay in my

The worst hotel I’ve stayed in Istanbul. the hotel is located in a filthy street and road. the staff is the most mean I’ve ever met in my life. I arrived at the hotel on January 1, 4a.m. and they didn’t offer any welcome drink or just water or say happy new year, they just wanted me to pay for the hotel though it was paid and I had only 100$ to pay. the receptionist started to calculate and said that I have to pay 400$, then 250$ and that the policy of the hotel is to charge me immediately and I can’t do it next day. when after all his crazy calculations I got angry, he said no problem we will charge you tomorrow. just to remind it was 4 am. they remembered about their policy on January 3 and invited me to make a payment though my checkout was on January 4. after some manipulations with my card they said the bank blocked my card. to say I was shocked is to say nothing. I was furious as it meant that I had to spend two days without any money. fortunately I went to the shopping center and it turned out that my card was available. I still don’t know why they did it at the hotel and why I couldn’t pay 100$ when I checked out. in the evening I spoke to the manager and of course he said he would try to sort it out and call me back later that day. and he never did! never!!! I stayed at different hotels in Turkey and the Swisshotel in Istanbul and have never seen such an attitude to the guests. these guys have only Liras in their eyes. I will never ever recommend this hotel. also it is very shabby and the smell in the lobby is so bad that you can have a headache after 1minute of staying there.

10 out of 10! Keep doin’ great job!

Amazing and very helpfull staff. Very clean and confy rooms with amazing view overlooking Golden Horn. Great service at Royal caffe.
