The property was superb. The garden brilliant for those quiet afternoons and evenings. 15/20 minutes to Sorrento, 30 minutes to Positano, 60 minutes to Amalfi and 60 minutes to Pompeii. The local town Sant’Agata has plenty of food shopping and a range of restaurants from the cheap to the 1/2 star Michelin. Truly enjoyed the place.

The house was stunning ,very tastefully decorated throughout. Bedrooms were spacious, beds comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were for the most part good, a few issues more due to age of property than anything to complain about. One of the bathrooms though for one of the bedrooms was on a different floor...may be an issue for some....not for us. Lots of sitting areas for peace and quiet or for group activities. Our only problem was because we had a large group and entertained other friends who were staying in the area for a couple of nights, the kitchen is quite small and the stove top was finicky....also the oven was complete guesswork....all the numbers and lettering had long disapeared.Pool was as advertised...small...again not an issue for us. Grounds were beautiful, many sitting and lounging areas.
St Agata is a lovely little town with all amenities, shops, restaurants, a mid size supermarket,Mini markets, bakeries, butchers, etc. At the bottom of the hill ( a five minute walk) is the bus stop for Sorrento....a must see. Also buses run to Amalfi and Positano. Tickets can be purchased from tourist info. From Sorrento you can get the train to anywhere else. Pompeii, Naples, etc. We had a fabulous time here...people are very friendly and helpful....the little store at the bottom of the road would close his shop and run us home for a small fee if we overbought wine and beer....a regular occurrence! This home was our base for two weeks and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

Great location if you do not mind taking bus and doing a little walking. Easy access to Sorrento. If going to Positano take the ferry from Sorrento; the bus ride is long to Positano and can easily cause motion sickness. The best part of the trip was hiking down to free beach at Fiordo di Crapolla. You must be fit to do it but the rewards at the bottom, chrystal clear water, high cliffs and lots of sea glass and very few people make it worth the trip.

The villa is beautiful and was plenty of space for my family! The outdoor area was nice for evening and the pool was refreshing during the day. Guiseppe was very attentive to all my questions ahead of time and we enjoyed many of his recommendations for places to eat in town. The only issues we had were with the hot water for showers, the gas was out and he right away had the company come to fill it but we still had issues. The only other thing to know is the beds are very firm. The kitchen was well supplied with coffee and more than enough supplies to accommodate a big group. We did love the patio area which is what drew me to this home initially. Keep in mind, the best way to get to the villa, without a car is by taxi which is about 15 minutes. Guiseppe was great to call us a taxi when we needed it! Wi-Fi worked great there too.

Villa is described as seen on the website. It is in close proximity of the centre of Sant' Agata which is a lovely centre with lots of bars, Gelato and grocery shops. There is a 10/15 minute walk up a hill to the villa from the centre which you need to be mindful of if you have walking difficulties. My dad is elderly and he did struggle with this.
The villa is laid out over 3/4 floors and is spacious. There were 6 adults and a 3 year old child and it was perfect for us.
The two en suite bedrooms on the 4th floor are very good. However during our stay the en suite to the lower ground floor bedroom was out of order and was not repaired during our stay which was inconvenient to the person staying in that room. Also the bedroom on the ground floor does not have an en suite bathroom and there is no bathroom on that floor which means that you have to go down the stairs to the kitchen area in order to use the toilet/bath/shower. Not a major issue for us but could be for others.
Overall the villa was lovely, in a quiet location in close proximity to a centre and therefore it met our needs. Guiseppe was also really helpful host and he arranged transfers for us from the airport to the villa and also the return journey. The villa is an old building and therefore you do expect it to be a little rough around the edges but it could do with a bit of updating/painting in areas, but this did not impact upon our stay and should we return to the area then we would stay again.

The villa is well-located in a nice village with many restaurants, coffee shops, and supermarkets. The villa has a few floors, which is advantageous for privacy but has some disadvantages as you need to move between floors. Overall the hosts were great, answered quickly, and very nice and welcoming. Also flexible on the checkout time. The only thing is that the villa is a bit outdated, and some renovation is required to make the stay nicer.

This is a wonderful and spacious property for accommodating larger groups with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The location within Sant'Agata is perfect for being able to visit Sorrento, Positano, Naples/Pompeii, Amalfi and the other sites in the area. The community of Sant'Agata is also very nice and convenient with markets, restaurants and other amenities. If visiting the Sorrento peninsula, we would definitely recommend considering this property especially for groups of 6 or more. We had a wonderful time staying here.

We were a group of 9 made up of my family and my sister’s family, kids’ ages 15-23. We had a great time! The property is so spacious and lovely. The location and surrounding town is stunning. We would definitely come back. The town people are so nice, lots of young people too. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. 20 min from surrounding tourist areas without the overcrowding. Our host, Giuseppe was very nice and accommodating. Everyone knows everyone and nightlife too!

The hostess was amazing. Quick to respond to all of our needs. The house was spotless. Enough room for 10 people both for sleeping and bathroom needs. Has beautiful appliances and a tv in almost every room. Everything you need in a kitchen for a large group for cooking! Here are the things I would recommend for someone staying there: 1. Bring a car, it's hard to get a taxi when you need it. 2. Stop at the corner store for bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper. Besides that you can't ask for a better place off the beaten path in the Sorrento area!

Beautiful place, and convenient to other coastal towns. The host was extremely helpful with answering questions, and any issues we had. He also booked taxis for us, offered boat tour and restaurant recommendations. We had a wonderful visit!

Family Vacation
Our family trip to Italy consisted of 10 people and 3 different houses and locations from top to bottom of the country. This house in Sant'Agata was one of my favorites. Loved the location, 25-30 minutes away from Sorrento, Amalfi, and Positano. It was a perfect location as we were not in the mix of all the tourist areas, and had a wonderful little city to walk to. Restaurants, gelato, and a nearby grocery store was exactly what we needed for our family. Giuseppe and his family were very responsive in helping with anything we needed and were quick to respond to our request. If ever visiting that area in Italy again, I hope to return to this house. Very comfortable for all 10 of us, ages ranged from 3-79. Thank you for the amazing hospitality.

Beautiful Villa
We had an absolute great time. The house was beautiful. Large bedrooms, and lots of bathrooms. We were a party of 9 and we all had our own space. We could scatter around the house and not have to see anyone. So many outdoor areas to relax as well. And the view from the balcony was stunning. Loved the location as we were close to town for groceries and supplies. House was beautifully decorated. All the extra amenities made us feel at home (we loved the Lavazza machine)! We needed help with a few things or missing others and the hosts were so quick to respond and incredibly helpful too. All questions were quickly answered, you can tell the hosts really care about their guests experience. Would definitely book again. Amazing place!

Nice stay!
Cons: no dryer but I guess that’s common in Italy. The drive there is challenging but early morning it’s no problem.
Pros: beautiful house , spacious, clean, well equipped! The location was great bc it’s halfway btwn Sorrento & Positano. It’s less crowded & more peaceful after busy city days! Busses are easy to figure out, short walk. The hosts are gracious with an incredibly warm welcome after a long travel day! Hosts helpful throughout stay with ?’s about the house or directions, etc. House is a perfect place to stay for your visit to this area! Highly recommend!
