The view was lovely stretching to the beach, the bungalow is peaceful and a nice, simple getaway. At night you can hear the ocean soaring. Good price/quality ratio overall. The people at the place are friendly and really forthcoming.
In general the place might benefit from some renovations (easily working water pump/shower) or especially getting rid of the ants, which seem to live deep inside the house. They come out at times in large amounts, making the place which is in general very quaint an unpleasant and kind of gross experience.

Good things:
- Balian main surf point overview from the balcony.
- Walking distance to the surf point.
- Spacious balcony.
- A big refrigerator.
- People are nice.
- Affordable price.
- Room cleaning in every 3 days.
Bad things:
- Rats, which bite every possible food-like package. They also poop around everywhere. Five rats were caught by trap during my stay.
- Ants, which have a big network deep inside the wooden house. They form a big line when they got a job. Wood power is piled up on room edges because of their work.
- Lizards, which crawl on ceiling at night. No significant threat compared to the others. It's just creepy to see them crawling if you are not used to (well, you will get used to in 3 days). You get poop rain sometimes.
Advice to feature customers:
- Keep any food or food-like packages inside the refrigerator otherwise they'll be bitten and destroyed.
- Buy a insect spray from local store and use it when ants start working. It can seal the working path for a while.
- Prepare a pair of sandals for the inside room. Waring them makes you comfortable by keeping your foot clean especially when you go to bed.
Request to the owner:
- I understand that it's a rural, traditional lodge and some nature is involved. But even taking them into considerations, the cleanliness and hygiene levels are unsatisfactory. I'm not saying it has to be perfect but there is a big space to improve. I'm looking forward to seeing improvements next time.

The Location ist good so close to the beach with seaview but also next to the street with alot of scooters pasing in the morning. Its a very basic cool cottage with an outside bathroom. The ocean air and sound is blowing through the room.
The big problems was the blood stains on the sheats. It also felt a bit bothering that the staff had my whatsapp and texted me in the evening when I arrived and continuesly in the morning. Maybe they should let the guests that are mostly coming to relax in peace.

This property had an ideal location. For me this is was the first time i stayed at a bungalow and it made me want to try it more. The view on the ocean was beautiful and the bungalow where we stayed had a real tropical vibe, what you really want when you are on holiday. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great.
