Good hotspring hotel that has quite good facilities if you are keen on onsen.

We wanted to stay in a hotel with onsen facilities and the one at this hotel is quite good, hotel guests get to enjoy for free. I travelled with a group of 5 friends and needed 2 rooms (twin sharing & triple sharing), we managed to find 2 rooms with a twin sharing & triple sharing (double + futon bed). As the futon was really v thin and not super comfortable, we requested for additional bedding so that it's not so hard for the back. The hotel staff was kind enough to send this over together with an extra pillow. The hotel is located opposite the Beitou Library and there were many restaurants, pharmacies, spas, pharmacies and shops around the vicinity. We had a pleasant walk around the neighborhood, there is a waterfall nearby. If not for the typhoon that hit Taiwan in early Oct, we would have wanted to hike to Yangmingshan.

Out of the 2 rooms that we stayed, the triple sharing one had a really nice view and was spacious with a large bath 'tub' inside the toilet for soaking. However, the other twin sharing one was a little more run down and did not have any windows, so my friends were quite disappointed. The local breakfast which was included in the room price was pretty basic. It would be good if more options could be provided.

Relaxing stay

Love the private & public hot spring! Helped us relax from travel tiredness. Just 1 min walk to MRT Station/Bus Stop. A lot of FOC attraction within walking distance. Breakfast was surprisingly great too! The staffs were super friendly and helpful too in accommodating to our needs

Lighting and aircond system of the room is a lil old. Hard to adjust the room temperature.

We enjoyed the in-room hotspring experience and the amazing location of the hotel!

The location is very convenient! If you are lucky and get a room facing the park, the view is awesome. There are plenty of free drinks and snacks in the room refilled everyday!

The hotel is very old and some rooms definitely need an urgent renovation. One of the rooms assigned to us is facing the building right behind very close to the hotel and there is barely any sunlight shining into the room. Probably the reason why the room has a very strong smell of mold, given that the window of the bedroom also cannot be opened. We asked for a change of room and luckily the staff was very understanding and helpful and gave us another room right away.

Nice hotel in Beitou area

Room is spacious and hot bath in the room is nice. Hotel is very close to MRT.

Breakfast is mediocre,can be improved on the variety of food.

The hot spring in the room was great, we were able to enjoy it after a long day of walking at the freedom of our own time. Highly recommend for those who wants to enjoy the hot springs even with the fully packed itinerary.

Nice hotel in a good location

Big bedroom with a nice design and a great bath! The location was very good too.

The breakfast was a bit limited and not international enough.

Small cosy family owned accommodation , could do with some basic upgrades

Lovely view of sun moon lake from the balcony. Very close to the pier and walking distance to night market and shops. Ita Thao is a very small town so everywhere is within walking distance!

The room furnishings were quite dated and some items looked like it would need replacing or a good clean, eg curtains, window grills in the bathroom. There were multiple small bugs in the room we were staying in. They only accept cash. No breakfast and difficult to find any sort of western style breakfast at Ita Thao, bring bread or spreads. But overall for the price we paid and accomodation provided, it was excellent !

Not really value for money

The hotel is mins walk from xinbeitou mrt. Many small eateries around the hotel.

The aircon was so weak that we need to on fan.

Very good

The staff at the front lobby door 陈先生（Ivan) was very helpful and nice, he went out of his way to make our stay excellent by helping out with my elderly father and making toys to give to the children. Thank you very much! Great hotel with nearby walkable access to many dining options and shopping. Clean and modern rooms. We will stay here again if visiting Beitou.

Fantastic bargain spring without feeling like a cheap hotel

I loved the public bath, the incredibly spacious room, the private bath area with the spring water fed faucet, and the view. It's reminiscent of 1990's styled resorts without feeling outdated. It's a bargain and a good balance of quiet, luxurious, and calm. I have been to most hotels in the area but I find myself coming back to this location.

The facilities have seen better days but it would still beat virtually every spa resort hotel in America under $150 USD a night.

the only thing worth mentioning is the location. facility is pretty old and isn’t worth the price.

poor breakfast double bed is actually two single beds??? fridge with no electricity and the lift….door opens twice with no reason
