Divino ambientado muy cálido comodo

Buena ubicación, es excelente.
Personal amable.

Friendly staff
Wifi and electricity available, heater in the main room
Good price
They offer breakfast and dinner for an extra cost (useful out of season although needs to be paid for in cash)
Loads of blankets were provided to combat the cold
Room is very small, pretty much just space for a small bed - it was fine for one night but think we would have struggled for much longer
No heating in the room, the windows didn't shut properly so there is a draft coming in

Clean, cozy, right on the beach. The hot shower was amazing! The staff were fun and spoke English. I'd def stay there again, just not in the winter
There was no heat in the bedroom. It was extremely cold.

The welcome was very warm and we enjoyed a dinner with the staff! Very nice place, disconnected from the world! You can relax on the hammock next to a camp fire!

The volunteers were nice, especially Rodrigo is just gold. It's directly next to one of the beaches.
Don't expect a "typical" hostel. But when you get used to the fact that things are the way things are, it's a nice place.
In general: Most things are just very old and used already. Definitely more on the hippie side of things. There are only plugs in the common area and only one light per room.
Vibe: it was good when other travelers were around. But expect neighbours and friends of the staff to also walk in and out or hang out in the common area on a daily basis. That sometimes felt awkward and gave me the feeling of intruding a private party.
Kitchen: no oil, no salt or anything similar sometimes not even a lighter to light the stove. You'll have to buy it at the store nearby or be lucky because a traveler before you left it there. It would be good to just have the basics in the kitchen. There were a lot of flies in the kitchen and common areas. I think it's because the trash in the kitchen does not get cleaned very often.
Rooms: The beds are very small and very low! I'm 1.70m and it was sometimes hard for me to stretch. No ladder to the second bunk. In general limited space to store your things in the shared bedrooms and lots of mosquitoes (not the fault of the hostel).
Bathrooms: two bathrooms and three showers. Free towels. All of them are clean but I can imagine it gets crowded when the hostel is busy.

the location
the kitchen for use but not much equipment.
there is no privacy. they only ask for you money (you feel it). they ask whether you request dinner (expensive and very late) or not but didnt ask for other needs. I didnt find the owner friendly considering the this small place and cabo polonio needs cosy environment. the flush in the tiolet is very bad.

Lovely staff, clean room, excellent location
Unstable wi-fi and sometimes it was not possible to charge the cellphone

Best thing by far are the people and the vibe there, you don't need more than that to fully experience Cabo Polonio in a remarkable way. Jose from the staff apart from a great person is also a great cooker. My second third time there and I hope I'll be back there some day
It's a bit hot at night during summer, but it's ok, you don't go to Cabo Polonio expecting luxury, or at least you shouldn't

The location is excelent and staff is nice.
The bathrooms were dirty, so were both kitchen spaces. They have an organic bin that accumulates an excesive amount of flies, and everything in general seems dirty. There was an old empty plastic bottle under the bed when we checked in (which didn’t belong to us. Also, it’s extremely noisy.

The staff was really friendly and I had some amazing dinner there. It's a cozy little hostel next to the beach.
The rooms and beds are tiny. I am not very tall, but I didn't fit into the bed. The walls are very thin and the sliding doors don't help with that, so you can hear everything other people are doing.

Good vibes
Good memories
Mosquito net
2 kitchens
Common spaces are cool
The room of 4 people is tiny yet expensive
No lockers
No hot shower after the sunset, but that's part of the experience

It’s one of the cheapest options if you are traveling on a budget, but…
If you are up to party every night, go for it. The place is located right in front of a night club with loud music until very late. So if you are looking for a place where you can take a good rest at night, an other option would be better. Other than that, the two shared toilettes are terrible — one of them hasn’t water enough to flush the number 2 and the other one takes about 10 minutes for the water box to be full.

Perfect location. Warm showers. Clear info on how to access the facilities. Has a good energy and nice areas to relax out front. Easy walk from the 4x4 station.
Bunk height is short so you can’t sit up underneath the bottom bunk. Space limited in 4 bed dorm.

Nice private room with toilet and very nice and friendly staff, affordable and tasty dinner (200 pesos)
The dorms had mosquito nets but our room did not

the location is great and you can see the hostel from afar because of the colourful design. there’s a kitchen that can be used.
it was freezing cold in the room because the windows didn’t close properly. I get that there’s no heating (I guess that’s the point) but it was ridiculously cold at night.

Huge crack in the wall - I was freezing at night despite 3 blankets!

Cabo Polonio is beautiful. Lourdes and her daughter were charming. The one open restaurant served delicious food and Gabi was wonderful.
Almost everything was closed. After all, it was winter! Had to flush the toilet many times to clear waste.

I came off-season (mid August) and booked a room with shared bathroom, but really had the entire place for myself. So this is as good a value as it gets! The hosts were super friendly and chill. The bed was comfortable and with the blankets supplied I wasn't cold at all, despite the cold, windy night. The kitchen was very comfortable too, with good stove and convenient utensils. I imagine that in the summer it's all a bit tighter, but should feel pretty cosy in the right company.

I had an excellent experience in this hostel. The staff was nice, especially the volunteer :) It’s very close to the ocean and the outside area is so nice with hammocks etc. There was nice social vibe, for that time of the year I expect it to be less people, but it was very nice. They have electricity during the day for people to charge things and wifi in the evenings. Also the lights work at nighttime. Also not really related to this particular hostel, but I really recommend to plan more than one night in this place! Would definitely visit this hostel again (and more than one night). Just don’t come with big expectations of luxury, that’s not what this place or the whole town is about.
It’s a bit funny, I noticed that the bunk beds are basically two beds put on top of each other (and of course fastened securely). But it makes the bottom bed space very small. So maybe not the best option if you are very tall, but you can always choose the top bunk bed then of course

We stayed in a private room, the bathrooms are shared and they weren't very clean. The same happened with both kitchens at the hostel. The staff was amazing and the meals they cooked also.
It could have been cleaner. Also, staying at a hostel is a different experience when it comes to privacy, noise, etc. Anyhow, would definitely go back but not a shared room.
