The property and host are amazing. We love the less touristy village of Agia Efimia. The location on the island is wonderful with nothing too far away. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed including a gorgeous water view. The location is very quiet and convenient to the village which has some great restaurants and grocery stores
We liked everything

Johhny, the owner, was waiting for me to pass me the keys, even if I arrived two hours later than expected (damn Ryanair!) The place is just a 5-10 minute walk from the city but at the beginning of an uphill slope, so don't get too drunk at night, but for the rest, the place is amazing. Wonderful view.
That damn uphill slope. Seriously, it's 60%. That apart, it's really good value for money. And there's not a real kitchen but a small appliance like a mini-oven with two electric hobs on top. Not that matters because the place is full of very affordable restaurants and bakeries.

There were absolutely NOTHING that we've liked, in all honesty we could not wait to leave...the location is somehow a bit in the back from the main promenade area of Agia Effimia and requires about 10 minutes walking to reach it..we were truly dissapointed with the condition of the room/overall condition of property/care (or to say lack of it) shown by the owner etc,HUGE discrepancy between the advertised Booking.com photos and actual reality. Owner is uninterested in providing any support for any requests you might have and though he seems willing to help at first glance, he does not do anything (on our first night, as our room did not have any outdoors airers (for wet swimming suites etc or beach towels etc....all the other rooms had one), upon our request, the owner said he'll provide one...3 nights later, nothing was provided... likely the owner forgot about us, in the 2nd second).
On our 2nd night, while we were on balcony, to our horror, a rat crossed the balcony from one side to another, between our legs, dissapearing straight after in the poorly maintained garden, next to the building.

Cleanliness, size, comfortable furniture, location and views
Both my wife and I have bad backs and found the bed uncomfortable.
The shower head required replacement.
A microwave/double hot plate combination does not lend itself to self- catering

Spacious, clean, fabulous location
Would have loved a floor length mirror and/or dressing table mirror

Great location - basically 1 hour to every corner of the island (and airport). Big bed, A/C in every room, balcony with a dryer, TV with Netflix, drinkable tap water. Few beaches nearby (5-10 min by car), 5 min to the center by walking. There are few food stores and a lot of restaurants and also 3 bakeries.
Fridge could by bigger (insufficient space for food and water bottles, also 2 of 3 fridge door shelves were broken). The A/C from the neighbouring apartment had the output on our balcony, so there was ALWAYS water on all over the floor. The privacy on the balcony was not great either - the plastic wall between balconies was short (so you can see the sea), but if you were sitting on balcony, you were basically 0.5m from the your neighbour (in our case a heavy smoker). Although the suite was for 2 people, the bedroom had only one nightstand. Could be a lot better for the price...

The room is big and have a lot of facilities, the view from the balcony is stunning. Location is close to Agyia Evfimia port. Also, the owners of the property are very nice and helpful.

This was a perfect for a week away on my
own. The location was great for - just set back from the village, 5mins by foot - and the balcony gives wonderful mountain and sea views. The studio was a really good size too, with sitting area, desk, wardrobe, bed, basic kitchen and bathroom.
Kitchen utensils could be improved- chopping board, knives, etc.

The host Johnny is a great guy - very helpful, attentive and easy to get along with! The suite was lovely and had great mountain/sea views. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

The host has been very kind and available; he let us choose the apartment; quiet and convenient location; seaview in a bucolic frame
Old furniture and no windows in the bathroom (but the apartment was our choice!)

We liked the liberty that the owner gives you, also the quietness of the place and the tideness of the rooms.
We didnt like the beds, because for my height they are too high

Lovely location to explore the north of Kefalonia. Apartment a short walk to centre although we used our car a lot. Very comfortable and spacious.

The location was really nice. You can walk to the Center of Agia Effimia, where is everything you need (restaurants, super market, etc.) Very cool balconie and a huge living room.
The kitchen and the bath were very small.

Good location near town of Ag Efthimia (about a 10 min walk to port/restaurants). This is not like a hotel or airbnb so keep in mind the accommodations are basic and you will need to buy/bring your own hand soap, shampoo, etc. Towels were changed every 3 days.
wifi was inconsistent and there was a wasp/bee nest above the property which led to bees constantly in our room.

Fantastic view and a very warm welcome from Johnny. Despite the poor weather and aftermath of the medicane we had a fantastic time. Would book again!

The views were amazing, being situated in the valley just about over looking the main town and port and only being a 5min walk away was the perfect spot - especially as we ended up being there while the Medicane hit in Sept'20, our location meant we weren't directly affected by any of the mud slides or water fall unlike a lot of the poor town.
Johnny the owner was wonderful and very helpful, even coming to check on us as soon as he could leave his flooded shop at 10.30pm to make sure we were ok!
The bed was very comfortable, i'd say 'medium' firmness going by UK standards - i'm a 'medium/soft' mattress fan but actually found this not too hard at all. Plenty of pillows of differing sizes which suited us perfectly as i'm also fussy about my pillow :)
Car parking is on the side of the road in front of the building but the roads aren't very busy and there's plenty of room.
I was also very impressed at the COVID precautions implemented by the Islanders - all staff everywhere wore masks, hand sanitiser everywhere and I saw many restaurant staff regularly using sanitiser! Most dining is outside anyway. We felt very safe in terms of the COVID situation.
Although there were two mirrors in the apartment I would have really loved a full length one - but that's not a deal breaker. There was a trouser press but an iron and small table top board would have also been amazingly appreciated - we just wore creased clothes instead :)
(for some reason I thought there was going to be an iron, must have been my mistake though - we didn't bother to ask if he had one we could use, which might have been a possibility)
