excellent breakfast with variety of food
The stay was perfect

Beautifully located in the middle of tea farms. Nikhil, the manager of the Teanest Annexe took excellent care of us - preparing food in a timely manner and helping with cab bookings. Superb food.
If some basic toiletries such as shampoo and soap are provided, it would be better.

The property has a beautiful location, set among tea gardens all around the place is serene, calm and tastefully decorated.
Portion size of the dishes could have been better.

We had a fabulous 2 night stay in the Teanest Annexe. Nikhil and his team looked after us very well making sure we had every we needed and organising tours and taxis. The food was delicious and a good selection to choose from. The views from the Annexe are stunning, overlooking the tea plantation and hills. The Teanest was recommended to us by friends who stayed here a few years ago and we will definitely pass on the recommendation. Thank you 🙏

Property is good.
Mr Ranjith at the reception, and Mr Nikhil, Mr Sarathbabu and Guruji (the Chief cook) at Teanest Annexe surely do need a special mention as they were very eager to see that we have the best time during our holidays.
The team of 03 (Mr Nikhil, Mr Sarathbabu and Guruji (the Chief cook)) at Teanest Annexe were always super excited, humble and ready at your service. The food served was outstanding and up to the mark.
At Teanest Annexe, you can watch the sunrise and the view (even at night) is outstanding. Can see the towns at the foothills.
Well maintained property and good staff make it a very good experience.
We still wonder why are you guys so rigid about the payment and ask for 50% of the payment much in advance?
Everyone on Booking.com or whoever is in your field of business has the uncertainty of booking (customer cancelling the booking at anytime). We do understand the commercial aspect, but when you are so well maintained property and a staff to match - good word of mouth from all your happy customers will never keep you short of bookings.
I have been booking with Booking.com for many years and you are the first property who has asked for 50% payment nearly 3 months in advance? And if we cancel in the stipulated time you will return our money after seven days?
Hope you can change this and be super customer friendly like your staff.

After a long journey, as soon as I arrived at Teanest, I relaxed totally and knew I would be very happy there
I received a very warm welcome from the Manager and his team and was immediately shown around the property and it’s delightful gardens, this was a very special touch I thought.
It is a boutique Hotel with lovely rooms, great showers and tea making facilities too.The service from the whole team is outstanding, they cannot do enough for you.
There are also activities to enjoy at no extra cost including bike rides, guided bird and tea plantation walks. You can even do afternoon tea tasting too.
I watched the he sun rise over the mountains and tea plantation and it was truly magical.
I had their tea inspired 7 course menu which not only was incredible value but delicious too, the buffet breakfast was also lovely with eggs of your choice.
I really enjoyed my stay here and I would highly recommend it, the scenery is mind blowing!!

A beautiful setting with immaculate gardens and clean comfortable rooms. Fabulous food with a big range of options - outstanding breakfast. The many staff were so keen to be helpful they were a little overwhelming. A well informed local guide offering free walks was a real asset. The efforts being made to keep the surrounding area free from rubbish and protect the wildlife were impressive given the huge challenges on these fronts.
We were very cold in the evenings - all the windows and doors were open in the dining and foyer areas which was lovely during the day but there was nowhere cosy to spend the hours after dark except in bed. Down jackets and socks required.

Staff was very helpful and polite and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Property was very charming and well located! Beautiful views.

The resort is located at a quiet, beautiful area in the midst of tea estates but walking distance to town nearby. We had only breakfast there which was very decent.
The staff were courteous and friendly. I would like to specially mention Mr Nikhil, who was the manager of the annexe. He took care of all our needs and requests. He would even stay up late waiting for us at night! Service with a smile!
We stayed at the annexe which is about a km away from the main block. These rooms are more expensive even though the rooms are begging to be refurbished! The resort was full so they wouldn't accommodate us in the main block even though our friends had rooms there.

Nice cottage style rooms. Quality of rooms were great and so clean. Food was just awsm. You order anything and everything tastes exceptional.
Staff was very humble and also accommodated our special request.Scenic view was so amazing.
I would have appreciated if they provided toileteries like dental kit. We had to order dinner maximum by 1815 and that was challenging as we were with kids and in confusion ordered way more than required.

incredible location! far away from the bustle of main Coonoor yet close enough to get to the main spots around; tea nest is nestled in a nice little tea alcove. great staff and very clean comfortable rooms with strong wifi as well.
not all the items on the food menu were great to taste

TeaNest has a lovely location and an even lovelier staff. Ranjit and his team did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable. The restaurant is small but room service is available, and breakfast can be eaten at the outdoor tables as well, which makes it more comfortable when larger groups are occupying the restaurant tables. We were given Ranjit's number to message him anytime we needed anything and the service was always super prompt. The food is great with plenty of variety and a homemade feel to it, better than the other restaurants we visited in the area. You will be asked to choose from the menu a couple of hours before every meal as the food is prepared fresh, which we really appreciated. The Hibiscus room was even larger than we expected with a lovely view, a really good hot shower and it's a short distance from the main building so it's quieter and highly recommended. All in all, a great stay!
