Very comfy with great facilities!

Great experience overall! The staff at reception were lovely, the location was nice, and the basic cabin was a very comfortable living space with everything we needed. The shared facilities were great too, with plenty of kitchen space. Right by the beach too which is nice and very peaceful (we got a beautiful night's sky). Only stayed one night, but would have happily stayed longer!

It's quite a remote location, which is both good and bad. Depending on what you want, prepare to be out of the way of things - there is a shop a short drive away with everything you will probably need. If not, the nearest supermarket is about half an hour away (off the peninsula back onto the main island).

Stunning

My whole experience at this park was stunning. The staff are very friendly and always calls out hello, morning and have a great day. The cleanliness shows they have pride in this park and strong work ethics. The unit was warm and comfortable.

The was a little disturbance and I think the weather hindered my messages getting to Darlene however as soon as she got notification she addressed the situation very swiftly and professionally.

This is the third time I've stayed at Whatuwhiwhi Top 10 and just like the other times it's been amazing!!!! Such a beautiful place. All facilities are always so clean. The communal toilets, TV room & kitchen are spotless every time I've stayed. It literally has everything you need in one place. Laundry if you don't already have laundry facilities in your room. A fun area even for the kids to play with a nice park & a trampoline & thats just a few of the many things they have. The beach is also literally across the road & its breath taking. They have dvd's & boardgames you can hire for free from reception and the staff THE STAFF are always so lovely, polite & extra helpful. This specific stay I didn't realise they close at 5:30 and so I went to exchange our towels at about 8:35 & no one was there so I rang the after hours number and the receptionist come and changed the towels for us even though she had already left. I will ALWAYS 100% recommend to stay here if you are in the far north. Thank you!!

Ahhhhh, maybe my only downfall about my stay was that the sliding door was hard to lock but with a little jiggle it was fine. Everything else was perfect.

home away from home, paradise in the far north meeting some members of the community whanaunga of ngati kahu ki whangaroa. Whanau to Muriwhenua tena tatau katoa....

Loved it and made friends

Loved our stay. Super friendly staff and customers everywhere. Not noisy at night. Great facilities, excellent shower and knowing the water was bore and UV treated was perfect.

Hot as in the room but no one’s fault. scratchy sheets on sensitive skin but also no one’s fault

I booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 1 night, I want my money back at least half

we had a great time unwinding and relaxing at this location, the kitchen are and the entertainment areas were great. ove

everything was close by and the facilities were great for the family group

everything was great expect the Spa was not functional during our stay. for early teens some outdoor activity area would have been great, I.e swings, trampoline, basket ball net would add more value to experience

The staffs are polite, kind and very helpful.

The facilities in the original room are not very good. There was problem with the water supply. I was upgraded to a villa, but there was still problem with the water supply the next morning. Hope that it is fixed now.
