Would stay again

Great location, clean rooms and friendly staff. Yvonne in reception was exceptional.

Towels weren’t replaced daily, however I’m sure we could have asked for clean towels without any problems.

It was fine but don’t think I will stay here again

Great location and the reception was extremely welcoming and helpful.

Bed wasn’t comfy at all. Walls paper thin, got woken up by next room alarm going off in the morning and could hear their shower running

Although this is the second time I’ve stayed here, I won’t be back for a third stay

Location is very convenient for me

There was a fairly regular deep humming sound, like my room was on top of a large generator. It came and went a little bit, and I got somewhat used to it, but it was not pleasant. In my seven night stay I only asked the room to be serviced once - the towels were replaced at that time and the sheets pulled up but not changed - there was no more toilet paper provided, although I was down to under a quarter of the last roll, and the tea caddy was not topped up. The carpet was not particularly clean which was annoying as I start my day with yoga which requires me to lie on the floor. Although there is a kettle provided, there was no teaspoon or even a popsicle stick to stir my tea with.

Go to place to say when in Napier for work

This is my go-to place to stay in Napier when I am in the area for work. I also tend to end up in the same room, which is nice. Room and amenities were good. I was also lucky to always get a parking spot.

Lovely hotel

Guests should be warned in advance that there are no staff on site, and no staff on site overnight. As a single traveller this was very disconcerting and I would not stay again if this was still the case. This hotel needs dedicated 24 hour reception.

The beds were very comfortable

Car parking space was very poor. Un aware of this. There's also a bar close by that has their music very loud till late at night, especially on a Friday and saterday night.

Great location friendly staff.. Rooms were clean and comfortable albeit basic.

Parking was terrible! What was there was almost impossible to park in and was on a first come first served basis.. For a 'hotel' we found it less than acceptable and would not stay again because of it.

Great friendly staff, clean room and great location. Heat pump was on at 22°C when we got into our room.
