Everyone was kind and helpful - as a woman traveling on my own - I felt very comfortable

staff was very pleasant and helpful - I felt safe and quite comfortable - great air conditioning!! a real plus in the heat- hot water in the shower - clean and quiet place- with a kitty and dog and well kept garden

Chacala is Sweet and Safe

Valentin was very welcoming upon check in. We loved the kitty that hangs out. Grounds have lovely flowers and waking up to Chacalacas in the trees was a bonus.

There is no view to speak of. This is not the fault of the hotel but rather the way all the accommodations in the central part of this town have competed for the space. congested. Also not a fan of banda music which went on loudly half the night from next door.

We really enjoyed this hotel!

we had a lovely large room with a really comfortable bed. Nice hot shower, short walk to the beach. We loved the available coffee in the morning. Staff amazing and helpful.

I liked the weather it was very nice. Also it was quiet and peaceful.

The pool water was dirty it had a bunch of different bugs in the water.

Pleasant Stay

The staff here was wonderful, very welcoming and helpful.

Booking.com has incorrect information on their site.. According to them the room included all meals and had a sea view. This is either incorrect or outdated and should be corrected.

Super spot!

Great place to stay! Close to the beautiful beach and just around the corner there are several shops, restaurants etc. Room is spacious, roof top was very nice to hang out and watch the sunset.

Beautiful Room near the beach

Our room was very lovely and comfortable. The balcony was nice and had a view of the ocean. Great place to sit in the mornings and just relax. The room had both a/c and a fan, we did not need the a/c at all during our March visit. The bed was comfortable and the shower was large, with lots of hot water. We had secure parking and the wi-fi was very reliable. Staff were very nice.

Very friendly and family friendly hotel, exceptionally good value for money, made our long weekend.

We really appreciated how easy it was to pay for our stay, since both we and the hotel have Bancomer accounts. Also, we were offered an upgrade so that our friends - a mother and her 18 year old son - got a two bedroom, two bath, full kitchen apartment, which they really enjoyed. Having garafons of drinking water available and a community kitchen were also very helpful amenities. The pool was small and not very deep, but this was actually perfect for our friends, who did not not know how to swim. They began to relax in the water very quickly. Two kids frolicked in the pool also, so while adults who like to do laps would not be happy, the pool was perfect in other ways.

Not much the hotel can do about its location, but it's close to a busy corner, one street being hilly, so the traffic noise was intrusive at times. In this electronic age (we each had a cell phone and a computer), having more electric outlets in the room and maybe one on the balcony would have been very helpful. A small-ish round table and two chairs on the balcony were much appreciated and used to look out to sea while sipping coffee.
