location was good, right opposite the promenade and walking distance into town
over priced for the size of the room, clean but no towel change during our stay. small minimal parking that was available.

Bar, restaurant, entertainment area was ok
The room was so bad, tiny low ceiling, had to duck down to get in bed or make a coffee, bed was uncomfortable & hard, tap on sink dribbled water so a nightmare to brush teeth or wash, shower water dribbled out, went hot then cold then hot again. Have emailed the hotel 5 times & rang them 4 times they never get back to you. Its an absolute joke the stuff are really bad with customer service care.

Everything was really good with the hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and explained where things were and what they had available at the hotel. The room was really spacious with really high ceilings which we loved.
The only downside was that I didnt sleep at all. There was something constantly running at the back of the hotel which kept me awake. Our room backed onto the back carpark but we had some roofs right by the window which I guess had some kind of vents or machines for the kitchen or heating. It just ran so loudly all night so I was very tired the next day and I had a long drive home.

Lovely staff, very friendly and attentive both at reception and at breakfast. Very relaxed atmosphere, and loved the fact you can bring dogs, would definitely consider this next time. Very clean and comfortable beds.
Loved the family room, but toys were old, missing parts. Access to rooms was difficult with suitcases due to lots of stairs and doors. Lift didn’t go down to reception. Main problem was lack of information about parking and finding the entrance/
car park. Was woken many times by other guests as early as 5am. Would have preferred larger towels. Heating from radiator went straight out of the window so was quite cold.

Room was clean
Really unclear how to find reception from the front of the property.
Staff required every form of ID, car reg even though not parked at property and card details for damage deposit on arrival.
Lift wasn’t working, no clear directions to room, had to carry my bags up three floors, whilst heavily pregnant and got lost multiple times.
Wifi didn’t work in room, spoke to reception, they said they’d look into in but no wifi for my whole stay.

Annex was lovely bed was so comfortable I ended up napping before making it out to town , shower was able to get veryyy hot that's a bonus, WiFi was good and free was enough tea and coffee to get me ready for the night for new years and the hangover in the morning
The entrance door to annex needs a bit of attention very hard to open and close, the shower temperature button needs looking at had to use a towel to adjust it very stiff, the carpet on the way into the annex had a smell that I could only describe as cat wee quite ammonia smelling

Great staff. Well positioned. Clean and comfortable. Food was really good. We loved the Ghost Hunt that was organized : just pure fun on a cold, wet, miserable day!!!! Will definitely recommend and would most certainly stay again.
The layout is a bit complicated but once got a hold of it was fine.

Just before we were due to go we checked the reviews again and started to panic, as they weren’t great!!
Well….. it is true what they say!! Don’t believe everything you read!! When we arrived we were greeted by Sam on reception, who was lovely and friendly. Our room wasn’t ready as we had arrived 2 hours before check in, so we took ourselves off to the beach. Once we returned and checked in, Sam showed us our family room. This looked exactly like the photos on their website. It was spacious, clean and best off all, we had a view of the sea which my twin girls loved. All the staff at the hotel are lovely and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. They have entertainment every night which is great fun! Bingo, quizzes, karaoke, race nights etc. The staff even participated in the karaoke which was fab! One of my granddaughters is autistic and she came out of herself and did karaoke and the staff were all great with her, telling her how good she was (she does have a lovely voice, but only ever sings in front of family so it made her night) The breakfast was lovely, and they even do fried bread which is my all time fav!! We ate at the hotel restaurant twice and the food was amazing, and reasonably priced!! If you so go to this hotel you have to try the “Berry Burst” cocktail, as it is fantastic!! All in all, I would recommend staying at this hotel to anyone. Thank you to Sam, Max, Dan, Rhian and all the other staff at the hotel. Hopefully we will see you again soon.

The room was tiny for a double and a single. The bathroom was even smaller. Toilet and shower cubicle which was pretty much on top of each other. The room was constantly warm and dated. Iron burn mark on the carpet and jjst in need of some TLC.
The food wasn’t great from the downstairs restaurant. It said in the information book about a 10 percent discount to guests but this was never put on when paying the bill nor was the question asked from staff to see if we was guests. Over priced meal which the wife was sick throughout the night.

Not a lot
Toilet flush was broken, hand wash dispenser was faulty so no hand wash would come out. No phone in the room. Called reception using mobile phone to come sort out the hand wash (thinking it needed refilling), the receptionist promised to come sort it out. Then had to call again after nearly an hour and then he finally arrived only to tell us it was not going to work. No suitable car parking place, had to risk leaving the car on the road. All in all, regretted booking the hotel and could’ve booked somewhere with better facilities for not a lot more.

Hotel was very good for what we paid. Beds were very comfortable and adequate for a 2 night break. Bar closed really early so we couldn’t have a last drink. Receptionist staff very good. Happy, showed us to our rooms. Good stay weather was good. Thank you for a great weekend .
Bar shut too early.

stayed here a few times as in a great location, clean and tidy and will continue to return here in the future
nothing to fault

We won't be returning. We complained to the manager and received no response. We had what I can only describe as emergency housing guests arrive at 2.30 in the morning. They were discussing an incident that had happened earlier, swearing talking about the police. I have 3 small children that could hear everything. They then spent the rest of the night bouncing up and down on the bed (need i say more) again my kids could hear the whole thing. Awful

Location good, hotel had changed name the week of stay & guests were not informed, which made it a nuisance to find! Room recently refurbished to good standard.
Breakfast not included in price of room, which other hotels were offering. Took this room as accommodation was fully booked elsewhere. But I was very satisfied with hotel overall.
