Exceptional

We stayed in the family room (#4) and it was perfect for our family of four. There are two bedrooms and a large living area with a small kitchen. It was nice to have space to spread out. The staff was fantastic, it is only a block to the beach, and if you are scuba diving with their partner company Ocean Lovers (which you should!), the building is immediately next door. They have a large water bottle dispenser on site to fill your water bottles. One of the housecleaners will take your laundry home and bring it back the next day clean, which is very convenient.

This is completely nitpicking, and I recognize that, but the couches in the living room are terribly uncomfortable.

Quiet and Convenient apartments in Taganga.

it's very close to the beach and their dive center. It's just off the main street that runs along the beach which is where all the action is both day and night. Friendly staff, and very convenient if you are a diver. Overall, for Taganga, Ocean Lovers is a quiet and convenient place to stay. We enjoyed our time there. So in the context of Taganga, I'd rate the property a 9 overall.

There was some things I didn't like, such as no hot water, as in it's not even possible, there is one handle (an it's not a mixer) to turn on the water.. But to be fair, I must put it in context. I usually stay at 5 star properties. There is no such thing in Taganga. So in terms of what is available in Taganga, Ocean Lovers apartments are just fine, and priced accordingly and I'm very happy with my stay there, and again, in the context of Taganga, it's probably a 9 rating compared to what else is available.

Very good

I liked the convenient location and the friendly staff.

The bed was not very comfortable. The hotel is located very close to the main street so it is very noisy until late at night.

Good location but some street noise

Great location only a few seconds from the beach front. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Friendly helpful staff. Air conditioning worked well. Good facilities in the apartment. Very large and comfortable bed.

Maintenance worked was carried out on my balcony for a full day during my stay. I really don't understand why these places can't schedule maintenance work when no guests are booked into an apartment.

Without a doubt, THE place to stay in Taganga. In the heart of the city and close to everything

What a fantastic surprise! A great staff that were super friendly and helpful. I think the absolute BEST location, right next to all the dive centers, great food a block away and 200m to the beach. I absolutely loved the entire experience here. Book here and you will be happy with you choice (and trust me, check out the hot dogs across the street!)

taganga has changed a lot since we were here 6 years ago

clean, large, king sized bed, well stocked kitchen, close to beach and restaurants, super friendly owners and staff. our room had a balcony, probably the best room

lots of barking dogs and super loud music at the restaurants across the street but stopped at 12 am

The location is really good and the staff is very helpful.

There was a bit of noise during the weekend. Nothing that earplugs couldn't fix.

Really comfortable property in a lovely seaside village!

Excellent location for completing the PADI open water course with OceanLovers Taganga next door. Some very nice bars and restaurants close by and a hens kicks to the beach. Really spacious and comfortable room. Lovely staff!

Rare pearl in a coastal paradise

When I walked into this place, It felt like all of the times in life when you meet someone special. You are told they are special, you believe they are, but you really have to shake their hand, or in this comparison, you have to enter the gate of the motel. Entering the gate with the salt water blowing through the leaves of the court yard trees, the chill vibe... It feels like home, literally under 30 seconds walk from the hussle and bussle of the main water front of tanganga, you find a hidden walled oasis. The bed is perfect, not to hard, not to soft, the kitchen with stove top as what changed our mind from any airbnb in tanganga. I could write more, but think of everything a motel is and does, and this motel does everything with no error. Some motels have, that motel feel. This "motel" feels like you have arrived, home. Everything is ideal, I have been in many motels in my travels in colombia, including a 300 dollar a night suite on honeymoon. I'm kicking myself that my wife and I didn't stay here, in tanganga, at this motel. The only regret I had from booking a stay at this motel was the tremendous regret of not doing so sooner. It is a gem hidden in paradise. Welcome to the best accommodation in tanganga. It's quite the same as meeting "that person" , you can try to explain their qualities, but like this "one in a million motel", words don't do justice. We will be back

I couldn't stay longer. We had to go home eventually, esta es la vida. Hasta luego.

Great place and staff. Will not return due to what I stated about unreasonable charges.

Multiple stays equivalent to more than three weeks. great location and staff.

I’m very angry that I was charged this time for using my credit card an additional unreasonable 6%. I was not informed of these new changes up front or I would have been prepared to pay in cash. Not stated when booking. will not stay here again unless they change this policy.

The location and the staff were excellent. The staff were always there to answer questions and provide assistance

The shortage of cutlery and plates. There were 4 of us amd only 3 plates and not enough cutlery for all of us. And we had friends for lunch twice... some more of these would have been good.

Great location

Property is a secure apartment style building with open courtyard with a friendly cat. Just a couple hundred feet from the ocean and basically in the middle of the main stretch of road along the waterfront. Staff was helpful and friendly even with a language barrier on our part. Room was comfortable and clean with A/C. No hot water but on the Caribbean coast it was not bad at all.

The title picture is pretty outdated and you can not see the water from the roof. Too much overgrown trees.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and the hotel was in a great location! But more than that the service was outstanding. Always polite and willing to help and give tips. Would absolutely recommend and stay there again!

Lovely place but bed linen needs an upgrade, old scratchy sheets and bumpy pillows. otherwise everything was great.
