8.0
It was close to Camino with attached restaurant
7.0
Right beside the Camiño
It had a definite smell and was rather noisy
9.0
Great location next to the Camino. The owner had only a little English but was very helpful and had written instructions in English for us. Room was comfortable and the bathroom worked well.
Nothing
7.0
Can hear both neighboring room guests as if they were with us in our room, bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper

Nothing, this place was the biggest rip off and waste of money
Very disappointing for €90!!
Didn’t like everything! Horrible beds, horrible room, horrible bathroom, very expensive
5.0
Great location so close to the Camino trail
Not super friendly welcome. Beds not really comfortable. Showers were lukewarm to cold.
Supposed to be a buffet breakfast, but we were charged for each item.

it was comfortable and in a good location.

there is very little to like about this property or my experience there. The poor reviews that it has received are well justified. The heat in my room did not work and at first the staff questioned whether I knew what I was doing. When they came to the room they were unable to make the heat work and had to check six other empty rooms before they found one that didn’t have heat. my room had a bathtub but there was no stopper. I asked for one, and the staff indicated that they did not have enough water to fill the bathtub so only showers were allowed. The hotel was virtually empty.

Convenient to the Camino.
Room was described as having air conditioning,
we paid for air conditioning. There was NO air conditioning available in this room ( second floor, room 207). Reception shrugged and said "Sorry, it's not possible" Window had no screen, opened to highway noise outside, temp was 24C!

The room was on the camino which was important to us. It was clean and had a private bath. The only reason I didn’t give a 10 was they described the room as air-conditioned and it was not and there was no fan and very little breeze coming thru the window. The bar next door was GREAT and overall it was a very good stay just know there is no air conditioning.
A fan in the room would have gone a long way … to make it better.

Very convenient location when walking the Camino de Santiago. We walked from the ferry to this location when doing the spiritual variant so great location.
Bed was a bit hard and the noise from the cafe downstairs was a bit loud. But overall a good hostel and very friendly staff.
2.0
the location.
No airconditioning in the summer, the room smells, the sheets wasn’t clean, nobody speaks English, waiter was rude and yelling the whole time.

Staff inesistente...

we liked that it was right next to a restaurant and that everything seemed very clean.
it was VERY barebones. the bed has very minimal, cheap bedding and there were no extras provided (coffee in the morning, shampoo, etc.). this wasn’t a very big deal, but we felt that the price did not match what you got. if you’re on the Camino, consider going a few more kilometers.

Great stopover on the Camino route, clean, comfortable, good size room, staff very nice
The bar/cafe did not open, could not avail of coffees snacks, evening meals or breakfast, there is a vending machine present, this is the only downfall

It was convenient as it was right on the trail. The room was large. 2 bars close by.
The bed was hard.

It was along the Portuguese Camino trail which is why I chose it. There is a restaurant that is attached which is very convenient. They had a really nice resting area outside that was like a glass enclosed gathering space for people walking the Camino. It had tables, chairs and free WIFI.
The room and bathroom is all marble. We were there in March and the room and bathroom were freezing. There was heat but the stone just couldn’t absorb the heat. I think this must be great in the summer when it is hot but it was not comfortable in the colder weather.

The hotel is fairly good.
The restaurant that belongs to the hotel only uses a fact, that it's the only one around. The prices are really high, clearly of what you can expect in central London or New York. The quality of food is so bad. Processed, frozen foods, all six of us admitted it was the worst food we've had during all 2 weeks of our Camino the Santiago. They say they have pilgrim's menu. 15€ gives you a tiny glass of cheap red wine, a bowl of soup and cold second course. On top of everything, the service is sooooo bad and they don't speak English at all, despite the fact, that their menu is written in Spanish and English. I strongly recommend to stay away from this place!!! Total rip-off.

This was right on the Camino - clean comfortable room
Nothing around open to eat - we were hungry after a long day walking! Uncomfortable pillows.
7.0
On the camino route
Fairly quiet
There is barely anything open in this town, cafe around the corner and gas station were the only places with food
Plugs missing in the sink, tub, bidet…

Really clean and great value for money
Near a busy road so a bit noisy for sleeping with open window

It's a little way from Santiago but interesting seeing the hikers on there last leg of there journey
