i would come back

nice place, clean rooms, very friendly staff, good breakfast.

good to know: if you want to go to la fortuna, you should have a car, because the hotel is a bit outside. (20-30 min walk.) the toilet room is open to the top. as a single traveler like me no problem. with two or more travelers, some privacy is missing. (this probably only applies to the rooms on the upper floors with sloping roofs).

Fantastic place, highly recommended!!!

Everything was perfect!! Beautiful place, comfortable rooms, very good breakfast where birds come to visit you and best of all was the hotel owner Laura, she really took care of us and made our stay amazing, we really felt like at home. We planned to stay for a night and ended up staying almost a week!

Enviroment, location with volcano view, very friendly staff. We felt welcomed and almost at home (mostly thanks to Laura), hotel was very clean, spacious and so were the rooms. We have missed only some wardrobe or something for our clothes, but that was no issue. Breakfast was very good and our overall experience was just great, we can definitely recommend this hotel.

Serene, clean and comfortable

Room was spacious, comfortable, very clean, beautiful view of the lake. Breakfast was lovely and staff was very helpful with any questions we had regarding tours and transportation.

It’s not far from the centre by taxi or Uber but there are no stores or restaurants within a short walking distance.

I know this makes it sound terrible but we all really did enjoy our stay

beautiful gardens and rooms really a nice property

beds were hard staff were stingy about towels - 4 in our family but only two towels. when we asked for more the staff resisted giving us more and were super weird about it the pool was not good for younger kids - too deep or way too shallow - No in between. concrete work around the pool and the paths is really rough and not great for people who are less able or need a wheel chair or support. our 5 year old slipped off the path and scraped her leg terribly on the rough edge no screens on the windows meant we couldn’t open them without bugs so we could hear the beautiful birds

Awesome stay to relax

Fabulous service, we arrived late in the night and they were gentle enough to wait for us.

We received a room that was different than the one reserved... but at last they gave us an upgrade
