We booked a room in the Villa, however it wasn’t specified wether it had a view on the lake, we had a view on the parking lot.

Fair but not quite so enjoyable as stay in 2019

Staff were generally helpful. Breakfast was fine.

More variety in the dinner menu. Access to the hotel by car over a long period due to the "Umleitung" Our reserved table in the Garden was always at the far end, where it was difficult to attract the waiters

beautiful location and a wonderfully appointed hotel. the public spaces and rooms are all very appealing. the breakfast was fabulous - so many choices and the staff so attentive.

Book the room with the balcony in Villa Seeburg!

We spent our night there with our dog in the Villa Seeburg with a view of the lake and a balcony on the west side of the building (great sunsets). Excellent room, clean, wooden floor. On checking out, the receptionist allowed us to keep the rubber duck :-) Breakfast was very good.

There was nothing we didn't like. The weather wasn't great, but that wasn't the hotel's fault.

Uberlingen - a must stay

I cannot say enough good things about this property - beautiful in all ways. Wonderful welcoming staff; gorgeous property; spacious, well appointed rooms; excellent breakfasts; a comfortable lobby. Everything was just as we hoped.

A very enjoyable stay in the beautiful hotel (not BAD at all!).

The hotel upgraded us to a sea view room free of charge which was a really nice gesture. Everything about the hotel was exemplary and we will definitely be going back.

The room was very hot but it was quickly sorted by opening a window.

Super nice staff! Always smiling and friendly. Bathroom was absolutley wonderful. The beds and pillows was one of the best that I ever had in a hotel. The view, WOW. The breakfast was good. We had a newyears dinner, WOW. Expensive but really really good! And super good staff!

The Hotel is old, so the floors is super quichy, we had problems with sleeping because of the guests in the room over us was walking around (they had a dog in the room over us) and dooning other private stuff…. And when we where walking in the stairs, you heard super good people from the rooms…. no well insulated. The mirror in the room was super dirty, full of white dots, and the floors was not clean. Wooden floor was full of dark dirt and old stains from liquids…

Very nice location with a beautiful lake view. Quiet in winter, busy in summer.

Very nice location with a beautiful lake view. Quiet in winter, busy in summer. New spa, very cosy. The restaurant is good with an interesting local wine list. Staff would need some more training.

Excellent place to stay as base for regional sightseeing

Ample breakfast with great variety. Clean rooms with comfortable beds; high quality toiletries and towels; good bathrobe and slippers. Great location. Excellent view from lakeside rooms. Generally quiet area despite being in the center of town. Restaurant needs better cooks. Lunch and dinner are mediocre given the excellent cuisine available around Lake Contance

Fantastic location, comfortable room, good breakfast

Beautiful location. Uberlingen is lovely. Good size room with a great fan which proved useful as it was hot. We had ‘town side’ room which had low ceiling in bathroom which was awkward for 6’2 husband. Great breakfast. Good parking - we were lucky to get a spot as car parking onsite cannot be reserved.

Rooms a bit dated which surprised us as website said hotel had recently been updated.
