Lovely setting but the room was tired and in need of a clean!

Lovely host. Lovely surroundings.

Unfortunately would not stay here again. The room was tired and in need of a thorough clean. Very musty smell which was off putting in the room. Old towels and bedding need to be replaced. Breakfast was average, continental served however lack of variety/choice. We did not use the swimming pool so cannot comment on this. Overall would say this was overpriced for the quality.

Wonderful location nice 30 min walk to the old city. Peaceful and lovely swimming pool which is much needed in hot weather. Oozes character with so many family mementoes. Special mention to Delphine and her lovely dog Mica.

Nothing of note. Property not suitable for anyone with physical disabilities as layout around property and access to rooms rustic and quirky with many little paths and uneven steps. WiFi also patchy and only accessed from owners lounge area. This however didn't bother me.h

Everything was perfect for us. Just the kind of place we love to stay!

Everything was superb. Great food both at breakfast time and at the evening meal we booked, a really lovely spacious room very clean and tastefully decorated , fabulous setting and quiet location, plus a gorgeous pool area and garden.

Just wonderful.

Situated just 27mins country walk (excellent as three hours tourist parking is 9 euros) from the old city of Carcassone in a quiet countryside setting this is a little gem run by the delightful Delphine. Have no hesitation in booking the evening meals as Delphine is an excellent cook and you will not go hungry and there is a aperitif and carafe of wine included. The swimming pool (quite deep) was being refurbished when we were there but should be finished soon. We had two labradors and had the "Garden Room". There was a comfortable double and another single bed in a side room although this had to be walked through to get to the bathroom. This had direct access to the outside down metal steps (think short fire escape) to the outside and was great for the dogs. Breakfast is good and presents a varied selection of goodies. Get there early if you want the hot items! There is ample parking on site.

It was not an issue for us but La Colline has a number of narrow stairways and windy turns so any disability would be an issue.

Superb

Charming B&B about a 20 min walk through the vineyards from the medieval citadel. Delicious breakfast included with a wide range of sweet and savoury options. Lovely little pool to relax by in the hot weather.. Delphine went out of her way to help including giving me a lift to and from the train station. Thanks!

No air conditioning - the room stayed relatively cool but might make it difficult to sleep in very hot summer weather.

Breakfast was very good. Room a good size with everything we needed Close to main sites but tricky to locate with gps

WiFi was a bit inconsistent and only accessible in the lounge..

Excellent breakfast, beautiful, beautiful place. Host did everything to make one feel wanted and at home. Property is set in lovely countryside but at least a 20 minute walk from the medieval town.

The WiFi was poor, didn't matter to us but for some people it might.

Beautiful house and garden with pool, ideally situated in the quiet hills above Carcassonne (15-20 minutes on foot). Very good breakfast and charming hosts. Great location for day trips to all the Aude and Pays Cathar locations.
