We were in the castle and the pool was directly next door.
The service in the restaurant was awful. I ordered a prawn starter and it never arrived until AFTER my main course. I constantly reminded the waiter that my starter had not yet arrived. And my handicapped daughter ordered chicken nuggets and chips which arrived quickly enough but three more plates of chicken nuggets and chips were brought to our table thereafter. We thought it was hilarious but then got worried we would be charged for them. We were not but what a waste.

Bed was comfortable
Breakfast was poor. I had the kedgeree but tasted like a microwaveable rice in bag. Room decor was tired and furniture looked cheap

We only had breakfast at the castle and it was fine. The service was really good while the food was limited.
The room ( no. 19) was terrible. The interior was very old fashioned and ready to be upgraded. The entrance door to the room was not fitted well so it rattled all the time. The bathroom door couldn't be closed without a squeaking noise. The toilet flush took a long, noisy time to replace the water and the fan and lights in the bathroom were synchronised which was really annoying being used during the night. The internet was very weak or not existing in the room.

Meravigliosa tenuta oggi sfruttata per le vacanze, camere suite ma soprattutto bungalow nel verde. Staff cortese.
Le potenzialità sono enormi ma non ancora sfruttate al massimo.

The facilities and dining were good..
A good night's sleep 😴 is very important. We requested a room with two single beds. It was a king size with two singles pushed together and king-size sheets and covers.Unfortunately one of the single beds was extra firm with no give whatsoever and the other side was medium , of course this was only uncovered as we tried to get a night's rest which was too late.. This was not acceptable and would be a negative when considering any future visits to the area.

Zimmer waren modern und sauber
Zimmer im Hinterhof. Überhaupt keine Möglichkeit im Vorfeld ein anderes zu buchen. Auch nicht in der Beschreibung ersichtlich wo sich das Zimmer befindet.

Super miejsce. Przepiękny teren, w zieleni. Mieliśmy wielki apartament 6-8 osobowy ; pełne wyposażenie. Śniadanie smaczne, pani obsługująca przy śniadaniu przemiła!
Basen z ciepła woda; sauna.
Polecam; bardzo dobre miejsce
Koniecznie warto odwiedzić St Andrews, cudne miasteczko bardzo blisko

Good location for touring Fife. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Hotel rooms a bit disappointing as outside of main hotel. Lack of lounges for residents-only one bar which doubles as restaurant so no lounge for residents to relax in. This resort seems more geared to self catering and would be a great family experience with lots of facilities for families.

staff were fantastic top marx go to Thomas went beond just being a staff person he was so helpfull regarding places to go and see also we met the owner who was helping out in the Bistro a great down to earth guy who gave time to people even at the busy times. The staff were fantastic even other guest were polite and spoke when you met then going around we will go back again for sure.
place could do with a bit of tlc when you look about i probably notice it more as that is what i do for my job repairs and stuff but overall the place is well organised. The place could do with some sort of mobility transport for folk whom cant walk far.

The grounds were beautiful the room was OK if a little dated hallways tartan carpets. As thier kitchen staff walked out a couple of days earlier they could only do a limited number of meals and so they could not feed us. We paid £17 each way to the nearest chip shop.
No food available and some distance to nearest place to .eat
