The property, location and service staff and their friendliness

The management and their arbitrary rules, the condescending attitude- We have been staying in Mayfair-Gopalpur for last 10 years except during the COVID when we did not visit India. This was our first visit after Covid and we had a miserable experience at this hotel, primarily because of the rude attitude and arbitrary rules by the "manager or supervisor" of the hotel (I did not get his name). He was condescending and we felt he behaved as if he was doing a favor to us. We were going to have family members come for lunch and until our 2019 stay, they always waited in our rooms before or after lunch. In most of these cases the hotel staff would even set up a 2nd buffet upstairs in meeting rooms when there were 15+ people, close to our rooms so that it would be easier for our guests to use our rooms. This time, the front desk balked at this and the "enforcer" supervisor came out swinging with the statements like "no hotel in the world would allow visitors to go to the rooms". I had to remind him politely that I have been to more than 15 countries in the world and have stayed in more than 100 hotels and nowhere there was a rule stopping visitors to go to the rooms with the guest’s permission. Recently, we stayed in Delhi- Aloft and my sister and her family visited us there. We spend time in our room, including tea and snacks until it was dinnertime when they had dinner with us. The irony of the statement by this manager is that, on that same day there was a dignitary staying in the same hotel (which caused more inconvenience for the guests but that's understandable) who had an entourage of more than 50 people not counting the security personnel who were following him into his rooms! We have always enjoyed the friendliness of the service staff and the good hotel facilities. We would miss those but this time it was too many problems (I have no time or space here to describe other problems) to return to this hotel.

Booked 500sq feet room 3 rooms and one of the room was allotted 240 sq feet. Bad managed

I should get what I have paid for, when food was included quoted and billed were different. Paid more then quoted
