Breakfast was excellent. The overall style and decoration, look and feel of the B&B. Jeanine was very helpfull, getting the bikes into the safe basement and very nice.

Super hotel. Couldn't have asked for more friendly stay - Jeanine's help and advice was very helpful. Great place to stay in Middelburg with bikes. Would recommend.

This was a wonderful way to start our visit to The Netherlands in a charming, relaxed setting. Thank you!

This is a well-kept B&B property, newly renovated. Jeanine has done a great job with the details and was incredibly accommodating to our schedule. She greeted us warmly and helped us with luggage. The garden area allowed for quiet visiting with our group and the drinks were good. The beds were comfortable and nicely finished. The breakfast was fabulous! The location is out of the way of the city center so it is quiet, but everything is in good walking distance. Having air conditioning in each room was appreciated. We felt like we were the only group present even though there were no vacancies. Jeanine allowed us to store our heavy luggage in her office, which was nice.

Be prepared to have steep staircases with heavy luggage. This isn’t a dislike because this the way older style Dutch homes are, but do be prepared.

great stay in a very good location with fabulous staff. would definitely recommend and return.

fabulously helpful staff, especially with moving all the bikes in the cellar. breakfast was outstanding with a great choice.

Lovely place!

Staff wonderful—kind and helpful. Room was great—very comfortable bed, superb breakfast, lovely garden and restaurant room. Nicely decorated. Had bikes to use—added benefit.

Nothing really except the walls were apparently a bit thin. Could hear neighbors and vice versa.

Romantic spot for couples looking for a quiet escape in Middelburg.

The staff communicated consistently after booking and asked if I had any special requests. The breakfast was excellent in a stylish yet traditional dining room. The staff were very friendly and helped me arrange a nice surprise for my partner's birthday during our stay. The bed was comfortable and the shower had relatively strong water pressure. Tea and coffee were available in the room which made for a nice way to start the day before the tasty breakfast.

The steep stairs to access the upper floors are impressive but unsuitable for people with physical disabilities. There was no in-room safe (or I didn't notice one), which was not a big problem, but most travel insurance providers don't cover valuables not kept in a safe. There was free wifi, and although the signal was weak it was good enough to do a few simple tasks.

Very enjoyable and comfortable

The breakfast was really good, lots of variety. The location was quiet and the room had blackout blinds. Will definitely book again.

A hidden gem!

An exceptional property with a most generous and gracious host. Highly recommended. Immaculately clean, comfy beds and excellent locally sourced breakfast.

Beautiful building, nice staff, delicious breakfast, but a bit overpriced.

Breakfast was delicious. Good location.

Our room was on a side of a street, and it was a bit loud at night with cars passing by. The B&b is in a beautiful old, authentic house. Therefore the walls and floors/ceiling are quite thin. We could here other visitors at night and in the morning.
